This module is meant for the course in Methods and Strategies for ICT. The creation of this module is never an isolated endeavor. To move from imagination to completion of this module required the encouragement, support and assistance. We wish to thank Dr. Dennis Dumrique for giving us the opportunity to finish this module. To BBTE 3-4D, for extending their support, encouragement, and love. Most of all, we thank our families for their inspiration and understanding. We thank them for unending support making this module possible. They were robbed of many precious moment as we locked ourselves in our rooms when our minds went prolific and our hands itched to write. Finally, we thank God, the source of all knowledge, understanding and wisdom. From Him we owe all that we have and all that we are.

Objectives

At the end of this module, the students will learn the following:

1. Define the meaning of Delivery System for Business Education. 2. Know the steps on how to deliver the lessons. 3. Know the different attributes of an effective teacher. 4. Know the different characteristics of an effective teacher as a human barrier system. 5. Be able to define professionalism and professional. 6. Know the characteristics/traits of a true professional individual and be able to grasp and understand each and apply in real life. 7. Know the different roles of professional teachers in the classroom and in the school.

Introduction

Computers, gadgets, machines and other modern technologies that invaded our humanity that help us to make our lives becomes easier and better. So, as part of the modern era, we are allowed to use these modern technologies. And these technologies can be part of our learning process. A learning process that can be part of our experiences and these experiences can enlighten or answers our curiosity about the things around us. As future educators of the next generations, we must be knowledgeable about the trending modern technologies that can help us to enhance or emphasize the lessons that we will teach in the near future. This module will edify the future educators to familiarize about the field or profession that they have started. Such as in the Chapter I discusses the definition of delivery system and to understand the way on how to deliver the lessons, steps that they need to follow on how to deliver these lessons, in Chapter II discusses the traits and characteristics of an effective teacher as a human delivery system, and in Chapter III discusses the definition of the professionalism and the leadership roles of a professional teacher. These are some of the things that these modules teach you at the end of the discussion. Theres a saying says that Teachers live to teach, not teach to live. This quotation tells that being a teacher is not only a profession but a life-long responsibility because they sacrifice their life to serve the future students, instead of having a better life. As a teacher also is like a soldier that is fully armored before going to the battle. They are always prepared before entering the room so that, they will deliver the lessons well. And most of all, the most important thing that a teacher can contribute to our society is to lessen the number of ignorance of every individual and give a right pathway to them.

We should salute and respect all the teachers all over the world because they are not losing hope to teach us. Appreciate the effort that they have exerted and their passion in educating us. Theres a professor says that, if you want to be rich, teaching is not the profession that you should take. It is because; teaching is such a noble profession. you cannot received very large amount of money as payment, but you will feel great when you teach. When they are teaching, you will see how dedicated they are and how passionate they are in this profession. Thank you and God bless!
