Action Taken by Concerned Division

M/S JK Satellite Network

The installation has been disconnected from auxillary transformer of 2X20 MVA Grid Station
Kulgam. In addition, the consumer has paid 60% of his outstanding in the first instnace and his load
has been revised to 12 kWatts and installation stands properly metered.
All the installations of workers of CPIM residing in shift quarters in Grid Station Kulgam have been
disconnected and connected on local supply through a separate route and the bills issued w.e.f.
04/2002. The consumer namely Gh Nabi Shah who too was using supply from auxilary has also
been disconnected and put on local supply. The close vigil is being maintained on the consumer
activites with regard to hooking and use of any other illegal means.

Hotel Hill Stop

Hotel Hill Stop has been inspected a few times by this division as also seceral times by the sub
division. The latest inspection was carried out by the under signed jointly with the mobile majistrate
electrical on 02\05\2012. The meter for the said consumer has been connected umpteen but the
security forces have either been damaging the matter by passinbg it or removing it completely. The
easy access to a bear LT CKT just outside the hotel is hewlping them taker hooks directly. This was
observed on one of the inspection trips and photographs were taken, which have been produced in
the Hon'ble court. Whgile from the consumer has got a stray for this connection. A complete docket
of the objections filled along with photographs.
The consumer has been billed on 15 KW Flat Rate from June 2012

Srinagar Times Group

In case of the family of Srinagar Time Group, this is to elucidate that the consumer has never paid
his electricity dues to the knowledge of this division for last decade or so. It is using a carrot & stock
policy at times which fetches good results. This office managed to collect a sum of Rs 2.50 Lacs in
just last couple of months from the consumer aganist the total outstanding. We believe a total
disconnection would have jeopardised our chanches of collection of revenue from the consumers.
The surcharge aminesty reportedly being round the corner is being solicited by the consumer
before securing the outstandings. The wisdom of this division in this case seems to be prudent. It is
therefore requested to have a patient perusal of these points before we conclude. An
encouragement for a prudent Action Taken would go a great deal in making a zealous lot out of the
officials of this division.
