The Grampian Surveyor was mobilised by Fugro in spring 2013, she is permanently equipped with 3 dedicated ROV systems and a comprehensive data acquisition facility. The vessel is configured to carry out platform, subsea structures and pipeline inspection in water depth of 3,000m. Grampian Surveyor is an IMT 975 S-Class ROSV (DP II), multipurpose field support vessel specially equipped by Fugro Subsea Services Limited for offshore infrastructure inspections. The vessel is built to Lloyds Register, 100A1, LMC, UMS, DP (AA), PCR (99) (98) standard. The DP system is a Nautronix ASK 5002 DPS interfaced to Fugro Starfix DGPS. Modern well equipped auxiliary accommodation is provided in 21 single cabins and 14 double cabins, complimented with a communal mess room and 2 fully fitted lounges. There is a twin bedded fully equipped hospital, fully fitted gym and sauna. The working space of the vessel comprises of online and offline survey rooms fully equipped and networked. Clients are also provided with 2 purpose built, networked offices. The available deck area is approximately 640m, this includes the mezzanine and workshop areas. The main crane is a Norlift 20 tonne. There is also a 1.5 tonne deck crane. There are in addition twin 10 tonne deck tuggers. The vessel is powered by 4 MAK MN25 fuel efficient, low emission, diesel-electric engines, each producing 2,322 BHP. With 2 Seaeye Lynx inspection class ROV systems and a 150HP FCV 3000 work class ROV system permanently installed, the Grampian Surveyor is perfectly configured to carry out platform, subsea structures and pipeline inspections in water depths up to 3,000m.
