Designing of EIB/knx Training Kits

The EIB/knx technology and the ETS software for the programming of the European Installation Bus were trained in workshop-1 in January 2009 in Podgorica.

The objectives of workshop_2 are:

To enrich the knowledge of workshop_1 by the dimming process and through the integration of the CM module of the LOGO! To integrate the knowledge and skills of phase III teachers training with the LOGO! To manufacture training kits which will allow the teachers to impart practical skills To organize the teaching process effectively and efficient through practical instructions in reference to the applied action-oriented learning-process. To demonstrate the structure of worksheets and manuals for students and teacher/instructor To close the circle of the applied methodology and the applied technology of the preceding workshops and to prepare the approach (manufacturing of training kits) of the upcoming workshop of phase V Electro pneumatics a joint workshop for electrical and mechanical engineering.

Planning_Executing_Evaluation_Documentation of Media for Vocational Training

Defining, planning, manufacturing, evaluating and documenting a training kit takes time. Therefore the workshop only claims to aims at the development of a draft design of a model kit. Teachers make their first experience in manufacturing training materials. The necessary and professional tools may not be available during this first project of manufacturing a training kit. Settings Training requirements are defined through the curriculum and demand decisions such as: the type of training, (e.g., for the practical training, for initial or further training, with assistance of computers the structure of training presented by the instructor, using Students Guides and/or Instructors Guide, a.s.o.), the definition of the methodology (e.g., use of a modular format, task-oriented organization, a.s.o.), the medium, (e.g., paper, computer assisted, visualization, workbench, a.s.o.). Assumptions The following assumptions apply: The training material requirements are already defined and documented and procured. Type of training aid is defined, (e.g., the Instructors Guide or a Students Guide for one module of training for a classroom course, a video, a tutorial a.s.o.). The entire project design is operational and is documented in a draft format. The project does not include a professional finish, which can be accomplished in a later period. This project is a helpful experience and preparation for the upcoming project of phase V. Justification of the workshop_2 Action-oriented learning needs practical experience and it is known from that practical instructions are up to 300% more effective in quality and quantity of learning. The equipment of the schools is not adequate to the methodology and the needs of training which puts the teachers in the conflict of what I want to achieve and what I can achieve Teachers know the advantage of action-oriented learning and they have experienced it in several workshops. The statement I dont have, so I can not do is not true any longer, as the teachers-training workshops have shown that very little effort of a budget provision is needed to achieve practical training. Workshop_2 shows that we can do
