Night after night of spectacular performances await you this year at the Ferst Center. This intimate setting in the heart of the Georgia Tech campus provides the perfect space to enjoy music of all kinds, exquisite dance and breathtaking artistry that inspires and entertains you. The 2013-2014 Season offers a number of top artists rarely seen in Atlanta, along with audience favorites we know you will enjoy. Say hello to hot new artists like Push Dance Company and pianists Alfredo Rodriguez and Steven Lin, along with top-of-their-game musicians Arturo Sandoval, Pat Metheny and Peter White. The astounding dance group Diavolo opens the season, leading us into a fall that includes the return of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and the premiere of The Hot Club of San Francisco.

Earl Klugh kicks off an exciting threeyear exploration of several areas of jazz music, and Georgia Techs own ensemble in residence Sonic Generator will perform with LOrchestre National de Lorraine. The season includes the return of Pilobolus, the Carolina Chocolate Drops and last years sensational Jesse Cook. Performance artist Sanford Biggers will offer a unique evening of film, music and visual art as part of Africa Atlanta 2014. Your total experience is heightened by galleries filled with surprising visual arts exhibitions, discussions held prior to most jazz concerts, and often opportunities to say hello to the performers after the show. Connecting to the performers through live experience is unlike anything else, and once you have experienced it, you cant wait for it to happen again. Join us for the experience!

The arts are thriving at Georgia Tech!
Vibrant signs of a strategic initiative to enhance creativity are visible across campus this year, from the new outdoor exhibit Engineered Art: An International Sculpture Exhibit at Georgia Tech to the 2014 TechArts Festival showcasing the creative spirit. In addition to the Ferst Center Presents professional artist series, sharing the imagination and talent of the students and faculty at Georgia Tech is a major part of the initiative, and the campus welcomes the community to enjoy the visual art, music, theatre, digital and literary arts created here. In 2014, Georgia Techs Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts will present Africa Atlanta 2014, a citywide celebration reinventing the cultural and economic bonds between the African, European and American cultures in Atlanta with a rich array of arts activities.
