The Fzght witb Yoarself arius Golea, writing under the pen name E.L.S.E., was born in the town of Tirnaveni on the course of thc Trvana Mica fuver in Transylvania in 1967. He grew up in a village called Dimbau, and since turning 21 and beginning his professional career, he has lived in the Arad municipality in Romania. E.L.S.E. graduated from the military high school in Alba Iulia City and then from the MiJitary School of Sibiu City. Upon graduating, he became an NBCR officer. Furthering his careet evefr more, E.L.S.E. graduated from rWest University with a degtee in accountingandmanagement information systems. In 2005, he earned a master's degree in financing and management in public administration fiom West University. Currently, he uses his education serving as the chief of the County Operational Center at the Emergency Situations Inspectorate for Arad County where he works as a firefighter. Although E.L.S.E. considers his search for God and meaning in life his main focus, he also considers serving as an officer, defending with other armed guards, serving as a commander, and the Romanian revolution in 1989 events that have influenced his course in life and the choices he makes. His family is everything to him, and he considers them all parts of one soul. E.L.S.E. is married with two children, and they make up his entire world. In E.L.S.E.t search for the ftuth, he writes about his experiences

and shares his thoughts about the quest on which he embarks cach day. He believes it is his personal mission to tell others about ( )od and to find the meaning in the most miniscule parts of life. I lis own suffering also inspires him to write, but there is always a happy ending for him. Even though he considers himself God's instrument through which His ideas are presented, he enjoys the personal success that comes from his writing and the publication of his two books. In Identitl Sheets, E.L.S.E,. touches on the revelations that have come to him through God's words, focusing on the importance of those words and their influence on one's life experiences. 'l'he power of words is intense and explained in the pages of l|.L.S.E.'s book, revealing just how significant simple words and rneanings are. His second book, The Fight with Yournlf, expands on the spiritual revelations E.L.S.E. reveals in his first book t<> include the power of mafttal arts. This book examines the control that practicing martial arts &aws out from those who

practice the art, allowing that person to be able to rise above fighting with others and to examine oneself in depth. E.L.S.E. composed both books to inspire others to rise above the earthiy struggles that exist and embrace the strength within. Impact on literature: Many readers today search for spiritual fulfillment in church, through social groups, and from various New Age techniques that arc peppered throughout society. Ii.L.S.E.'s books are a step in the direction of personal spiritual fulfillment, recognizing the power within each person to seek (iod and enlightenment without having to join an orgatizatton or group.
