I think he need to work on the accuracy levels and independent investigation of breaks.

Title: Description: Key Performance Objectives Acquire clear understanding of systems (Sphinx,FLIT, Multiview,CAS,SMO, Global1 etc) and also the working of Access database used in Equity Finance process to help increase efficiency and Identifying areas where process can be automated/ improved by use of access database / macros / TLM recs with approximate time saved due to automation and also ensuring good presentation of all files maintained managers feedback Gaurav Agarwal Gaurav Agarwal Active 31/03/2012 1.CAS- comfortable using CAS for dividends calculation, understanding the Stock loan Borrow position and Depot position. Calculation of Back dated Div-spread at diff client level break up 2.SPHINX- Have clear understanding of SLB position in sphinx , calculation of the stock loan passed to EF desk on regular basis. Calculation of dividends and Div-spread 3.FLITS- Posting of daily JTP's using Flits for cobra, JV transfer, SEG non cash transfers, identifying template for any new P&L to be Hold off. 4.Euclid- comfortable using Euclid, calculation of DTD and MTD trading p&l for Equity, Equity Futures, Swaps and other instruments booked in Euclid, calc of daily FOBO breaks using Euclid. Identifying missing rdms and raising ticket for the same. 5.Multiview- Have made and shared few queries required for daily P&L Process, Comfortable with extracting all the queries required as an when they arrive. Primary Manager's Review: Gaurav has well positioned himself to carry out the day to day activities including month end tasks. I want him to take a step forward and introduce new controls to improve the existing process and increase efficiency.

Employee Overall Review: Significant Achienements: 1.Templates developed for better work flow and process improvement Daily FOBO rec Div- spread rec Cobra v/s ledger rec, used when cobra p&l no's does not match with ledger. Lots of time was wasted to identify which new postings have add up other then the numbers we that then from ledger. 2.Improved speed and knowledge of Excel to good extent. 3.Spotted the permanent posting in DINE book posted by Mauro that was away from the knowledge of Mumbai PC. 4.Clear understanding of the daily process and good with investigation and calculation of the daily p&l process. 5.Working for achieving a better SLA each time for the regular process and provide support to the region

Development Actions: 1. Need to learn Investigating and Clearing internal nominal breaks, Investigation - DCC and Internal Nostro breaks, AV's, Identifying & Noitifying traders regarding incorrect book mapping in Sphinx. Employee Reveal Date: Employee Status: Primary Manager's Overall Review: 15/02/2012 Completed Significant Achievements:Gaurave has helped new joiners to understand daily task and is acting as a troubleshooter for day to day issues in the process. Gaurav has started running daily process and investigating issues upto some extent. Development / Areas for Action:-He needs to be proactive in suggesting process improvements as we are going through significant changes in daily process. I want him to cross verify/sense check every output sent to stakeholders. This would improve accuracy level of reports. I want Gaurav to develop his conceptual knowledge and prepare himself for the upcoming div season. This is first div season and he need to take this challenge as an opportunity. He should utilise his time to dig down the breaks in much more detail and develop an understanding of the existing and anticipated issues. Primary Manager's Overall Rating: Partially Effective
