Guide name hadimani 5. Introduction : fire fighting is the act of extinguishing fires. a firefighter fights these fires to prevent destruction of life, property and the environment. firefighting is a highly technical skill that requires professionals who have spent years training in both general firefighting techniques and specialized areas of expertise. firefighters are rescuers extensively trained in firefighting, primarily to extinguish hazardous fires that threaten property and civilian or natural populations and to rescue people from dangerous situations, such as collapsed or burning buildings.

There were some fixed ideas in our mind, which pushed us to start to work out on the project called unmanned fire engine. the first idea was to try out some new technology because this was going to be our real chance to design a new concept for ourselves. success or failure was never the criteria during the course of the project, as we tried out something that could never be sure of the result. unmanned fire engine, as the name indicates the fire engine is operated by full and for mostly automated no need of persons to operate the fire engine. and the concept is fully based on the hydraulic system and the sensors guide lines. 6. Objective our main aim of the project is to demonstrate an actual working model of a fire engine.

the project helps fire fighters to fight easily against the fire and save the life and also environment. since the project comprises of all the mechanical subjects like thermal, manufacturing process, turbo machines, heat and mass transfer, strength of materials & fluid dynamics it helped us to revise the concepts & theories which we have studied in past 4 years of engineering. 7. Methodology hydraulic cylinders :grey cast iron water tank :stainless steel and hydraulic tank :mild steel wheels :cast iron sensors and hose nozzle

8. Result and conclusion: this chapter is devoted to significant conclusion drawn from different aspects of

fire engines are as under:

investigated in this work. broadly these

tank, cylinder (double acting and telescopic)nozzle and self weight are carried out as per standard procedures. complete literature survey has been thoroughly conducted in order to understand the operation of a fire engine and its scope. calculation of hydraulic power is done efficiently. efficient actuators reservoir. 9. Scope of future work: the gear pump can be coupled with high capacity motor to produce high fluid energy. this project is very helpful for theory is concerned and it covers 75% of theoretical aspects.. is finally fitted above the

you can increase the efficiency of system by proper preventive maintance. you can increase the efficiency by making accessories ( heater, storage tank etc)
