PVC Insulated Armoured & Non Armoured Power Cable

Description Single core and multi-core cables with copper conductors, PVC insulated, unarmoured or armoured and PVC sheathed. These cables are most suitable for underground burial where there is a risk of mechanical damage. The cables are designed for continuous operation at a maximum conductor temperature of 70C Specification : According to MS274, BS 6346 Rated voltage : 600 / 1000V Construction Conductors: The conductors shall be circular stranded or sector shaped copper stranded wires. Insulation: PVC compound type TI 1 Identification of cores: Single core - red or black Two-core - red and black Three-core - red, yellow and blue Four-core - red, yellow, blue and black Five-core and above - (number) 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.... (auxiliary cables), and the numbers shall be blue or black printed on white cores. Laying up (assembling): The cores of cables having two or more cores shall be laid up to form a compact and circular cable. Where necessary, non-hygroscopic fillers may be applied. Bedding: Extruded black PVC Compound or lapped PVC tapes. Armour: The armour shall consists of a single layer of galvanised steel wires. Where single-core cables are armoured with non-magnetic material, such as aluminium wire. Sheath: Black PVC compound type TM1.

PVC Insulated Multipair & Multicore Instrumentation Cable

Application Cables are generally used in for the petroleum and petrochemical industries. Construction Conductors: Plain annealed circular stranded copper conductors according to BS 6360. Insulation: Extruded PVC compound type TI 1 Pairs: Black and white conductors shall be uniformly twisted together to form a pair and numeral numbering shall be printed along the white core for pair identification. Pair screen (optional): When individual pair screen required, aluminium / polyester tape with metallic side downward in contact with an annealed plain capper drain wire of diameter 0.8mm. Laying up: The required number of pair shall be twisted together to form a compact circular core. Where necessary fillers may be applied. Overall screen (optional): When required, aluminium / polyester tape with metallic side downward in contact with an annealed plain copper drain wire of diameter 0.8mm. Bedding: (applicable to Type 2 cable only) Extruded PVC compound type TM 1 Armoured : (applicable to Type 2 cable only) The armour shall consists of a single layer of galvanised steel wires.
