Bad neighborhood, distant/isolated from main part of Strip, nothing good nearby. Area known for drugs and hookers. Mandatory "resort fee" includes various perks, e.g., free admission to the Tower. Good location on Fremont St., hotel more like "old Las Vegas" and standard for downtown. Located on the Strip between Tropicana and Hacienda. There are air and hotel reservation special if you book together. This appears to be the cheapest price of the year! It's a nice place too. "Old Las Vegas" style hotel downtown. Larger rooms. I have stayed here and liked it. Fantatic views of Fremont St. from some of the rooms. Older but good hotel on the Strip. Near the Peppermill Coffee Shop that has a lounge I kind of like. Rooms seem to be bigger than most. Famous for the butt girls statue. I have stayed here and liked it. Best hotel downtown. Great location on Fremont St. I really like this place.
