24T Intelligent Cellular Modem

The 24T Intelligent Cellular Modem is the latest wireless device to leverage RPM Remote Performance Management platform from 24 Dash 7. Designed with a rugged enclosure and convenient invehicle mounting options, the 24T will meet or exceed the requirements for the most demanding vehicle monitoring and tracking projects. Each unit ships with a countryspecific SIM card which can be easily registered for use before deployment. The generous selection of data inputs and outputs make it an ideal choice for applications which require external sensor options for monitoring vehicle speed, engine performance and alarms. Onboard intelligence enables quick modem startup and plug-and-play operation with our intuitive configuration software. The standard GPS module that is included with each 24T comes complete with its own protective enclosure, 4-wire cable with Molex 4-pin connector and compact (25mm x 25mm) patch antenna. Secure communication via commonly-available GSM networks makes the 24T ideal for projects where corporate assets and vehicles travel through rural regions or across international borders. The device can operate over the GSM900 MHz, DCS1800 MHz and PCS 1900 MHz bands. The 24T features five Core Modules: Internal GSM/GPRS engine Internal antenna Internal backup battery External GPS module Controller and I/O circuits The 24T utilizes GPRS IP communication (or SMS) in order to send and receive vehicle status and location data. The internal micro controller and GSM transceiver reliably communicate with GIS Servers to plot asset locations quickly and accurately. The micro controller interfaces with the GPS over an RS232 channel.
