Whos Ibn Hayyan ?


Jaber ibn Hayyan is Arabian Muslim sign.

He was born in 721-815.


He excelled in Chemistry, Astronomy, Engineering, Metallurgy, Philosophy, Medicine and Pharmacy. He was the first one who did chemistry practically. 14th century, his books were most important in chemistry

studies.

Most of his scientific research were translate to European language by translate it to Latin language, and all his research known by name " Geber .

1. English philosopher Francis Bacon said : Geber was the one who teach the chemistry to the world, and he is the Father of chemistry The French chemist Marsilan Bertelon in his book (the medieval chemistry), said : Geber has in chemistry like Aristo has in logic

Ibn Hayyan based his studies on research experimental and he had deeply believe in it. He gave his students recommend by saying : " First you must work on your experiments, because who dose not work in his experiments won't get his lowest level of perfection. My son, you should experimenting to get the knowledge "

The Muslims Arab scholars affected such as Jaber Ibn Hayyan and Abu Bakr al-Razi by the theory of the four elements that inherited from Greece.

Ibn hayyan took the theory of the four elements then he had done scientific study. This study led to develop and apply of the scientific method in the field of science experimental which still the science using that method until our present.

Achievements of Ibn Hayyan of Science in Chemistry:
