The Correlation Influenza A virus are globally important human and animal respiratory pathogens. With Influenza came three pandemics the occurred centuries ago. The worst breakout, which killed 50 million, was in 1918. The most recent outbreak was back in 2009 when Mexico was attacked by the evanescent H1N1 virus. H1N1 killed 18,000 people. The Type of influenza that was connected was influenza A. Influenza A is part of the orthomyxoviridae family. RNA virus which codes for eleven proteins and the nonstructural protein NS1 is the most important viral regulatory factor during infection. Twenty other cellular factors interact with NS1. Beta Tubulin was also found to play a role in NS1 protein microtubule network is corrupted. Cells were grown in Dulbecco modified Eagles that were supplemented with ten percent fetal bovine serum, 100IU of penicillin and 100ug/ml streptomycin. Ten cell cultures were made and ten cultures had 90 percent confluence A549 that were transfected with phTAPNS1. The other cells were transfected with phTAP vector as the control. After 48 hours the steps above were repeated.

After the 48 hour period cells were washed three times with PBS. Then five milliliters of chilled PBS was added to each flask to prepare the cell suspensions. The cells were harvested in ten centrifuges. To characterize the TAP- purified protein bands were taken from the Coomassie Blue solution. Protein identified from peptide fragments after 24 hours, the process happened again. The Results of the labs conclude that Beta Tubulin was pulled down together with NS1. Beta tubulin has some correlation at this point. The association of beta tubulin and NS1 in A549 cell lysate was further confirmed by conventional anti beta tubulin antibodies. The discussion that surrounds this phenomena is that apoptis plays a role in the pathogens to many infectious diseases. Influenza viruses have been reported to induce apoptis in numerous cell types both in vivo and in vitro. It is still not quite clear if NS1 plays a key role on apoptis induced influenza virus A. Other signaling pathways have been tied to death. Tubulin in is found in microtubules, so the microtubules will be effected in the process. Today beta tubulin represents an interesting interaction of influenza A virus. According to these findings there is not any conclusive evidence of the sorts. Many labs were ran and many different results occurred. There are many different interpretations that can be formed about the correlations with influenza.
