UT : Undertaking to comply citizenship requirement

To : Housing and Development Board (HDB) LETTER OF UNDERTAKING TO COMPLY WITH CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENT FOR APPLICATION FOR CPF HOUSING GRANT FOR FAMILY We, Mr/Mdm/Miss __________________________________________ NRIC No. ________________________ (hereinafter referred to as the APPLICANT) and Mr/Mdm/Miss ______________________________ NRIC No. _________________ (hereinafter referred to as the CO-APPLICANT/OCCUPIER) are the applicants/occupier for the purchase of an EC unit at ___________________________________________________________________ EC unit. We have applied to the Housing and Development Board for a CPF Housing Grant for Family to finance the purchase of the EC unit. We are including our *parents/child, Mr/Mdm/Miss ________________________________ (*parent1/child) NRIC/BC No. _______________, Mr/Mdm ________________________(parent 2 -if relevant) NRIC No ___________ in this application to fulfill the minimum citizenship requirement. In consideration of HDB agreeing to our request for the CPF Housing Grant for Family for the purchase of the EC unit, we hereby confirm, agree and undertake that : (1) We shall at all times remain as co-applicants/occupier in this EC unit bought with the CPF Housing Grant for Family, and as co-lessees/occupier of the EC unit for a 5-year minimum occupation period commencing from the date of issuance of Temporary Occupation Permit of the EC unit. The computation of the 5-year minimum occupation period shall be determined by the HDB at its sole discretion and in accordance with its policies, rules and regulations in force from time to time. (2) The CPF Housing Grant for Family is granted to us for the purchase of the EC unit subject to the following : the Conditions of the CPF Housing Grant for Family. The terms of this Letter of Undertaking shall form part of the Conditions of the CPF Housing Grant for Family in relation to our application for the housing grant. the Conditions contained in the Agreement to be signed by us for the purchase of the EC unit under the CPF Housing Grant for Family; and HDB policies, rules and regulations in force from time to time.
