Frank and Marie Rempel will be returning to the North American continent about mid-August, The associated Christian Churches of Kenya, the society they have labored to establish as an "umbrella organization" in Kenya has asked them to devote at least a year (perhaps the last before retirement) to the promotion of
the East African fi'=^ld.
1. The Nairobi work itself, under the supervision of the Nairobi Church of Christ Committee , comprising in the main two congregations of the Churches of Christ. It is expected that Nairobi will be the venue also for the preacher train ing institute that is in prospect.
2. The Hamilton Christian Mission, presently the work of the Richard Hamilton family, who are establishing a very promising mission among the Pokot tribespeople. Hamiltons will, however, operate from Nairobi for the next while in the absence of the Rempels. 3. A fledgling mission among the Kuria tribes people in the province of South Nyanzc. 4. Workers [oining the above very soon and for whom Kenya "work permits" have already been secured, are Diane Messick, S.R.N. ( formerly of the Mashoko Hospital in Rhodesia; and the Roy Lane family, who will join the West Kenya work. 5. Other recruits, In varying stages of preparation whose names will In all

This appeal cones from the Rompel Africa Coimnittee and the hoRc congregation of Frank and Marie Rempel, Avondalo Church of
Christ in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
They have now cone home to live and find themselves like many elderly missionaries, without anv retirement funds and with insufficient funds to purchase the necessities of lifesuch as a vehicle, household effects or place to live.
