INTRODUCTION This is the brief idea regarding the subject of my topic which is Nandos Restaurant.

I am looking forward to the particular field of Marketing and Promotional Activities of various Nandos Restaurant around Auckland. My investigation carries out in this area of work because I have been working with the brand from past few months and have a brief knowledge about it. The investigation is all about increasing the marketing activities so as to create a buzz about the restaurants . This topic requires a deeper insight by me into the organisational marketing strategies not only in Auckland but also in all parts of the world .

LITERATURE REVIEW The main highlight of all the problems resides in what suggestions do come out for them. The steps are being taken by the company itself. Nandos New Zealand has the knowledge regarding the role they need to play for the environment they live in. According to the reports (nandos.co.nz, 2007,2008) there has been 17% increase in the casual audience who like the restaurant and are regular visitors. Their aim is: To increase footfall, sales and brand favourability amongst an occasional Nandos audience (people who only visit the restaurants once or twice a year) throughout 2013.(Kean, 2012) .Now the question arises of intense marketing techniques which the restaurants in New Zealand lack as compared to UK.. The main idea is to target the audience that eats out most of the times and convert them from occasional customers to Nandos followers. Most of Nando's revenue comes from the customer who visits Nando's once or twice a year but eats out at least once a month (Kean, 2012). Demographically, these people are 35-54 year old with 1-3 children living in suburban areas in the NZ (Mintel (b), 2012).. Therefore this is brief knowledge regarding the company on what basis are they working and their aim of increasing their target market which according to me can be done through various management techniques. Though the higher authorities are making their share of contribution for the betterment of the brand still a suggestion is worthy any day and any time.

AIM OF THE PROPOSAL I am writing in response for a proposal from Carole. A. Chamberlin for a 2.830 summary report module. This proposal fulfils the basic requirements of the final module which is in written and oral presentation. PURPOSE OF THE PROPOSAL The basic purpose of making my proposal is my genuine interest in the place of work and the interest regarding it makes me more attached to it. The knowledge regarding the Nandos Restaurant is a very resourceful topic as I would be able to get a deeper knowledge about the organisation. According to me this topic serves me the best .Moreover this proposal should give reader a brief idea regarding what the entire proposition is about to be. LIMITATION OF THE PROPOSAL As we are required to make the deep survey regarding the topic but this proposal is just a slight introduction to the entire work of study. The information given isnt the deep reviews of the topic but just a gist to the entire report. There is surely going to be the deepest review further on later stages, there might be problems in the company but as for now I am righteous enough to know only the brief knowledge regarding it. BACKGROUND In this topic I would like to make you aware regarding the background of my subject of study that is the famous Per Peri Restaurant Nandos. First the Portuguese settlers in Mozambique were introduced to the infamous Peri Peri chilli, then in 1987 it was the turn of Robert and Fernando until finally, the year of 1992 saw the Nandos craze storm the UK (Nandos 2012). The combination of their spicy barbeque flame grilled chicken and relaxed chilled atmosphere has formed a strong following from the countrys city youth. However, Nandos

have yet to conquer all.. Theyre committed to providing their customers with choice, value and convenience, so theyll enjoy the best overall dining experience. There are 700 restaurants in around 35 countries and is ever increasing.. Nandos has an entire background story of the evolution of the famous Peri Peri spice which enhances their vision is to be the premier provider of chicken to our customers with superior product & outstanding services. Their mission is to be the best chain in the world by offering a world class chicken experience at affordable prices with consistent quality, value and commitment to its customer base.

METHODOLOGY The best method of knowing about company so much is by working in the company itself . I am aware about the activities that are being carried out and the day to day challenges that the Restaurant faces. In this project the problems of the company , their best solutions with the best possible budget will be represented in front of you. Its good that the clear scenario of the preliminary plans should be mad e aware of so that you can identify my style of working. PERSONNEL FACILITIES I am aware regarding the facilities that are being provided to me at the work place. Access of administrative computer work, radio frequency gun is the main important part of the work. But before accessing all this officials and heads of the department are being referred in every way possible. As the responsibility is only monitored by people who are having a deep knowledge regarding how to operate those functions properly. ESTIMATION TIME OF COMPLETION The time that is to needed to work onto this topic is very important to me. Even though being working in the company to know the best details surely takes a bit more time therefore i would try to complete this assignment in nearly 8 weeks. This will be enough for me to be able to access to the minute details that department of the company is facing. CONFIDENTIALITY I would like to assure you that the proposal is very important in the matter of confidentiality therefore this will only be between the Manager and the AIS lecturer. CONCLUSION The basic purpose of this proposal is to make you aware regarding the company I have being working with. Having a deeper knowledge of the Restaurant that I have been working for, I suggest I will be able to make the best out of it. It would be a great opportunity to work for them and also to make a research regarding where they are lacking and in which manner. Thereby I can help them in any way possible with the best of my interests.
