Thank you to the parents who came along to our school cross country yesterday afternoon to support the students. We were very lucky with the weather and students competed very well in each age group. Well done to all students who took part. The top 10 place-getters are listed below. Thank you very much to Hamish & Justine Brown from the Allen Estate for enabling us to use the farm for the students to run through. Your assistance and time given each year is very much appreciated by our school.

Board of Trustees
We have received the confirmed Education Review Report which was released last week and is now available to the public on the ERO website www.ero.govt.nz. We are very pleased with the outcome, which reflects the hard work put in by the previous board and all the staff. It is very encouraging to have ERO recognise and support the huge amount of progress that has been made. Matthew Judge (Board of Trustees)

The Tainui disco is being held in our school hall tonight from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. The theme will be Fluoro Fantasy and students may come dressed in theme. Tickets have been on sale this week before school and at interval. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the disco. No child will leave the hall during the time of the disco. Children must be collected from the school hall at 9.00pm.

Our 2013 Sports Camp Team for Year 8 Students has now been selected (names will be included in next weeks newsletter). Each year the Sports Camp Team does some fundraising to help reduce the camp costs. This year will include selling milo with a marshmallow before school and at interval for $1 ($1.50 if you don't bring your own cup). Donations of milo or sugar would be greatly appreciated. We would also like to ask if anyone knows of a business or organisation who would like to be a major sponsor of the team. This would include the company name or logo being printed on our Team T-shirts. Please contact our office for more info.
