Living Community Church Service Assistance

Sunday, August 4 from 1:50 PM - 3:30 PM
You can help by escorting residents to attend a multi-denominational church service. Come with a smile, hold a hand, or push a wheelchair. Our team makes a difference! Meet us at 1:50 in the lobby of the Living Community nursing home (NW of Heartland Hospital, 1202 Heartland Road). The service concludes around 3:30. For more info, contact the church office..

Project Backpack

It's time for Project Backpack, our annual school supply drive for children in need in our community. Once again, we are sponsoring children at Humboldt Elementary and Robidoux Middle School, as well as children in our own church. This year, our goal is to sponsor 200 kids. Please stop by the table in the foyer to find out how you can help a child in need during this back-to-school season. We are looking for several volunteers with cabinet making skills to do custom work at a St. Joseph church that is still rebuilding after a fire sustained in 2011. Work will begin on Monday evening, August 12. Help will be needed on about 5 evenings over a three week period. Check the foyer table on August 4 and 11 to sign up, for more details, and an expanded work schedule.

Cabinet Making Work Project

Let your continual mercy, O Lord, cleanse and defend your Church; and, because it cannot continue in safety without your help, protect and govern it always by your goodness; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

eEVENTS
Camp Dry Gulch 2013
On July 15- 20, our elementary aged kids and their adult leaders experienced Camp Dry Gulch. This years theme was WALK BY FAITH. During the chapel services, our children and hundreds of others participated in engaging songs, interactive lessons, and teaching crafted to reach the hearts of kids. There were tons of fun-filled games and activities. Thanks to everyone who donated money to help scholarship children to be able to attend camp this year. Everyone had a great time and theyre looking forward to next years Camp Dry Gulch.
