To Whom it May Concern,

I am writing to express my sincere interest in applying for a Master's Degree in the Public Administration Department at your university.

I recently graduated from the Faculty of Letters of the Babe -Bolyai University, Applied Modern Languages Department (English-German). In this department the main subjects are related to translations (both written and oral translations) from Romanian into the English and/or German. I also studied the basic principles of subject like: Commercial Correspondence, Commercial Law and Politics, Economics, Public Relations and European Institutions. In these courses I learned how to communicate in the business world, using proper language and vocabulary. I also got knowledge of how the European political system works and the way it affects us as a nation, directly. For my graduation thesis (entitled How to Advertise Your Business to the Top?) I wrote about the process of promoting a new-formed company and the most commonly used methods of advertising. While researching information for my thesis, I discovered the importance of good managerial and organizational skills and the true value of the public opinion.

Among these areas of study, my uttermost interest in Public Relations and Commercial Corresponadence has attracted me into pursuing in the field of Public Administration. Another motive for my application is the fact that this particular master program is integrally in the English language. I think this could help me

excel in combining my knowledge of English usage with becoming a public servant, capable of communicating with international institutions in order to help make the transition from the classic model of PA to a modern one.

I want to study at this college because it is the first Romanian public administration master program approved by the EAPPA, which only means that it is the best. From speaking with students from this university, I am confident of my decision. With the help of the professors, I know that in the future I will become useful in the process of modernizing and making the public administartion system more efficient.
