Update on Pastor Williams sister: Seven years ago my sister, Dorothy Kuperis, was diagnosed with mantle cell lymphoma, which at that time was considered to be an incurable cancer. Following many difficulties, including massive chemo and the harvesting of her own stem cells, her cancer continued to spread. Eight months ago a new approach was tried. She received a transplant of donor stem cells. God has blessed this procedure to the extent that this week test results came back clear of cancer and there is reason for hope and optimism. We praise God, and we thank all of you for your prayers! Pastor William. The Jansen & Wissink families would like to thank the congregation of Grace Church for their heartfelt support and prayers on behalf of our brother Al Wissink (Toronto) during his recent surgery to remove cancer from his jawbone. He is now recovering at home and is doing quite well. Thanks to all of you! Happy birthday to Dina Dreise on August 6 and Helen Brouwer on August 9. Throughout this month we ask that you please pray for and encourage those who are confined to their home: Tina Schenk, Bea Van Til, Mary

Hummelen, Al Brandsma, Irene Elzinga, Mary Dragstra, Kees Feyen and others who are going through difficult times.
