Hey Awall, This is a total rough draft. No spell check or formatting yet.

Also, this is bas ed on what I expect from the girls in the group I've already started and what th ey can expect from me in no particular order... Some I've taken straight from th e 'Courageous' resolution. "Come now, let us make a covenant, you and I, and let it serve as a witness betw een us." Genesis 31:44 I will pray for others and treat them with kindness, respect, and compassion. I will forgive those who have wronged me and reconcile with those I have wronged . I will learn from my mistakes, repent of my sins, and walk with integrity as a y oung lady answerable to God. I will seek to honor God, be faithful to His church, obey His word, and do His w ill. I will honor God by being honest and trustworthy with my group and leaders. I will obey God by honoring and respecting my parents. It is my desire to show kindess, even in difficult situations, and by doing so, show others the love that Christ shows me. I pledge to pursue a deeper relationship with Christ through prayer, daily Bible reading, and serving Him by serving and loving others. By signing this covenant, I'm committing to follow Jesus by denying myself, and agree to be held accountable to my parents/guardian, church leaders, and fellow group mates for that which is in this covenant. Matthew st deny is life will it 16:24 Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he mu himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save h will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. What good be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?"

Leaders portion: If I'm to truly lead or make any impact on the girls in my group I can't ask any thing less of myself than to lead them in these things by example. I will honor God by being faithful, honest, and trustworthy to each student in m y group. The example of love I will show each student in my group will be that of the exa mple given by God in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. "Love is patient, love is kind. It do es not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, i t is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." I will meet your needs as a youth leader by: loving God and letting Him live thr ough me, being sincerelly interested in your life, taking initiative to spend ti me with you, praying for you, being real with you, encouraging you, believing in you, laughing with you, going to "your world", caring for you, sharing God's lo ve with you through my personal experiences, being consistent in life and minist

ry, being patient, being a leader and not a peer. (If I was using this for a new group leader who didn't know the kids, I would add: remembering your name). I will ask my girls to sign this along with their parent/guardian, pastor, and g roup leader. I would also like to have the covenant I sign to be signed by them and my pastor. I want them to know that I wish to be held accountable in the sam e way I'm asking them to be.
