Descripcin del Curso Examina los temas y los problemas fundamentales de la teora del Derecho, entre ellos las concepciones del Derecho, la validez o legitimidad de las normas, los problemas de metodologa jurdica, los conceptos claves del orden jurdico prevaleciente, y las relaciones entre Derecho, el poder, la estructura social y la ideologa. Discute estos temas mediante el examen de los aportes de las diversas escuelas y corrientes de pensamiento jurdico, con particular nfasis en los desarrollos ms recientes en la disciplina. II. IV.

Evaluacin

El mtodo de evaluacin constar de un examen al final del semestre en el da, en la hora y de la extensin establecida por la administracin de la Escuela de Derecho. Nota: El examen estar disponible por internet en la hora indicada y deber ser entregado al profesor por correo electrnico, desde el correo electrnico utilizado para el registro electrnico descrito en la Seccin III de este prontuario. No se aceptarn escritos desde otra direccin. Para fines de la calificacin final, se tomar en cuenta la asistencia y la participacin informada en clase. Se observarn rigurosamente las normas para la otorgacin y remocin de Incompletos (ver catlogo de la Escuela de Derecho). Los Incompletos son una excepcin y como tal se evaluarn. El profesor podr aadir otros mecanismos de evaluacin durante el semestre, tales como ensayos crticos de reaccin. V. Necesidades especiales De tener necesidades especiales, no dude en comunicarse conmigo personalmente o por va electrnica para hacer los ajustes necesarios y lograr el acomodo razonable segn las normas y reglamentos de la institucin.
