Why Can Demons Only Be Cast Out By [Relying On The Name Of Jesus Christ]?

** Starting Words

If we understand what kind of battle we are presently fighting on this earth, then our individual, family, and ministry living
will be easier, lighter, more effective...Actually, if we can distinguish the works of the power which oppresses, blinds,
deceives, and accuses our lives, and can grasp the secret to defeat him, then in the life ahead of us, we will receive the
boundless grace of God, and can help our beloved spouse, children, family members, relatives and friends. The one who
makes our spirits weary and burdened everyday is the devil; the one who causes me not to receive the correct judgment
is the devil; the one who blinds me such that I am unable to see the heavenly kingdom, glory and power of God, which
are [always present with me] is the devil; the one who makes me afraid of God and have the premonition that something
bad is going to happen is also the devil; the one who makes me not interested to know God's words more, not to like
praying, not keen to attend church meetings, is still the devil; the one who causes me to waste the short but dignified
time on this earth is also the devil, what cause me to be easily hurt because of other people, and make me enter easily
into quarrels with [spouse, children, brethren] are all the works of the devil... All the works of the devil cannot be seen
and heard, therefore only through the description (word) of God who [created him, judged him, controlled him], can we
understand the schemes and works of the devil; and truly believe the word of God, confirm it in our spirits and the
circumstances of the human world, then our spiritual eyes will be opened, and we can see through all the works of the
devil, and can also understand more clearly why I need Jesus Christ every moment, in order to drive out all the works of
the devil...

** Scripture Reading: Mt 9:35-38, 10:1, 12:22-45, Lk 10:17-24

1. First must distinguish the schemes and works of the devil and his control over the human world <Mt
9:35-38>
- Very often, such harassed and helpless state is the state of my spirit, family and fields...

1) Understand the works of the devil, then we can resist and exterminate
- The Lord says, [Resist the devil] <James 4:7>, [you can take your stand against the devil's schemes] <Ep 6:11>,
[you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one] <Ep 6:16>, [do not give the devil a foothold] <Ep
4:27>, therefore saints should understand [who the devil is], [what the schemes and flaming arrows of the devil
are]; the Lord also says, the devil is [the great dragon, ancient serpent, Satan, who leads the whole world astray,
and accuses the saints day and night before God] <Re 12:9-10>, [ruler of the kingdom of the air], [the spirit who
is now at work in those who are disobedient] <Ep 2:2>, [the prince of this world] <Jn 14:30>, [the father of lies]
<Jn 8:44>, [the one who blinded minds] <2 Cor 4:4>, [masquerades as an angel of light] <2Cor 11:14>,
[prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour] <1 Pe 5:8>, therefore must first understand all
his works, then we can resist him, overcome him and completely destroy all his schemes...
- Actually, at the split moment when the true form of the devil is exposed, he will instantly lose all his power = just
like the moment when a cheater's schemes are discovered

2) Saints who enjoy the blessings of Immanuel, can see through all the works of the devil <Mt 16:23, Lk
22:31, Acts 5:3, 16:18>
- All those who met God and enjoyed the grace of Immanuel, will often see two kinds of kingdoms...(1) the
kingdom controlled by God, all things in the universe, the beloved dignified lives of everyone who received grace;
(2) can also see the actual state of how the anti-Christ, the devil, opposes Christ, controls the world of
unbelievers, and disturbs saints and the church; all those who met God, and enjoyed the grace of Immanuel, are
all able to see through how the devil blinds the spirits of [those who have yet to restore Immanuel]/ all those who
often battle with the devil and are victorious, can see how the devil deceives, tempts, accuses the spirits of men/
all those who often rely on the Holy Spirit, preach the gospel of Christ, and help others cast out demons, can
discern the mysteries of [when the evil spirits will lose their power and free man, and when the evil spirits will
leave the spirits of man], etc...

3) All the schemes, works, control, and power of the devil, are manifested through the state of [the
spirits, families, regions, era of those influenced by him]

(1) God says, the devil is the [ruler of the kingdom of the air] <Ep 2:2>, [the prince of this world] <Jn
14:30>, [rulers, authorities] <Ep 6:12>: Therefore, a spiritual man can see how the devil Satan controls
the kings, Presidents, rulers, authorities, glory of the whole world/ when Jesus Christ was tempted, the devil
showed Jesus Christ all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor...<Mt 4:8>

 # The crown of King Pharaoh of Egypt has an image of serpent/ the emperor of China is the descendant of the
dragon, his clothes, bed, chair, bedroom all have the cravings and prints of dragon (serpent)/ there are sorcerers
and witches behind kings/ the atheistic China/ America has also become a country which cannot openly preach
about Jesus Christ -- the attention and focus of politicians is not on seeking the perfect will of God and to submit
to it, but on how to get the favor and love of all people...

(2) God says, the devil [leads the whole world astray] <Re 12:9>, he is the [spiritual forces of evil in
the heavenly realms] <Ep 6:12>, [the father of lies] <Jn 8:44> : Therefore, a spiritual man can see: All
those who do not know the Trinity God, are all worshipping demons and in communion with the demons, as a
result, they are under the control of the devil, thus entering the state of curses and disasters/ they worship idols,
ancestors, fortune-telling, witchcraft, feng shui, and their living are bounded by millions of destinies/ rising
incidence of mental illnesses, suicidal cases
# Taiwan, Japan, Southeast Asia, West Tibet, India, Nepal...

(3) God says, the devil is [him who holds the power of death -- that is, the devil] <Heb 2:14>,
[illnesses = messenger of Satan] <2 Cor 12:7>: Therefore, a spiritual man will see: Everyone fears death
and illnesses/ everyday 250,000 souls leave this world, the whole world is filled with the mourning cries of those
who lose their loved ones/ the medical science is more and more advance, but terminal illnesses are increasing

(4) God says, the devil is [powers of this dark world] <Ep 6:12>, [the spirit who is now at work in
those who are disobedient] <Ep 2:2>, [the tempter] <1 Cor 7:5>, [he who does what is sinful is
of the devil] <1 Jn 3:8>: Therefore, a spiritual man can see: The sins of the whole world have reached the
peak, terrible times have already come <2 Tim 3:1>/ all those who do not know God all seek after the cravings
of sinful man, the lust of his eyes, and the boasting of what he has and does] <1 Jn 2:16>, daily pursue the
pleasures of world civilization, continue to invent more exciting entertainment programmes or gadgets/ the
devil's works are especially more serious when man is bored or tired/ gambling, drug abuse, alcoholism, sexual
immorality, pornography, electronic games for adults and children, all kinds of perverted and addiction
phenomenon

(5) God says, the devil is [the one who blinded minds] <2 Cor 4:4>, [masquerades as an angel of
light] <2 Cor 11:14>, [anti-Christ] <1 Jn 4:3>, [accuses saints day and night] <Re 12:10>,
[prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour] <1Pe 5:8>: Therefore, a spiritual
man will see: the state of attack faced by Israel and the church/ the church loses the pure gospel of Jesus Christ,
loses the mystery of Immanuel and become religion (mystified, legalized, humanistic, secularized)/ guilt,
inferiority complex, fear, anxiety, poverty, illnesses/ condemnation, judgment, divisions

(6) God says, the devil is [already defeated spirit] <Re 12:8>, [already cursed, will be eternally
destroyed] <Jude 6, 2 Pe 2:4>, [knows his time is short] <Re 12:12>: Therefore, a spiritual man will
see: The end of the devil/ the shadow of the devil/ the powerlessness of the devil -- The moment a saint restores
the authority of a child of God, the devil will flee...

2. Man's problems cannot be resolved by religions, moral teachings, philosophy, humanism, the world's
methods, these will cause man to enter into more severe consequences instead <Mt 12:43-45>
[All 7 evil spirits go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first.]

1) Religions have no power at all to free man from the devil, root sin, bondage of the flesh/ Religions
have no power at all to help man be born again and restore all the glory of God...

2) The entire history and the current world of reality, have all proven the harms of religions, moral
teachings, philosophy

(1) Because religions involve communion with the demons, the more serious the worship, the deeper the deception,
the greater the accusation and curses
- In religious countries, regions, families and eras, severe curses and disasters are apparent
- In regions of spirits-worshipping, idol-worshipping, such as, Taiwan, Japan, Southeast Asia, Middle East, South
America, etc, the families and descendants of mediums, sorcerers, and those who often worship ancestors

(2) Because all moral teachings that do not know [God’s kindness], will cause man to commit more sins
- God’s kindness, God’s righteousness are brought about by the kindness and righteousness of Christ’s gospel.
Therefore, it results in moral teachings like [love God, love man], [be filial and respect our elders in the Lord],

 [help the weak widows, orphans and the poor], [forgive and be magnanimous], [encourage one another to love
God and love man]
- Therefore, those moral teachings which do not know God, will bring about harms like [social stratification],
[moral injunctions for women], [idols worship], etc

(3) Because any philosophy which does not know God, does not know the spiritual world, does not know man (self),
will bring about serious spiritual problems and mental illnesses

3) Christianity that does not lead people to restore [Immanuel] (metamorphosed Christian belief) will
bring about serious consequences <Mt 23:13-36>
- The Pharisees, chief priests, teachers of the law and their descendents who persecuted Jesus Christ and the
saints in the holy temple, encountered curses in history
- History has proven that this era, in which the whole world is controlled by metamorphosed Christianity, is indeed
the darkest era (400 yrs of Crusade war, etc…)
- After Germany’s development of [New Age Independent Theology], the first and second world wars were started
by Germany, disasters of the era came upon the whole world.
- Currently, Christians who led religious life will encounter all sorts of ironies in their individual, church and career
living

4) Even blessed saints cannot use “religious, humanistic and worldly” methods to solve the problems
they encounter
- Because God is concerned about all the conditions of the body, heart and spirit of a blessed saint [even a strand
of hair, a cell in the body], his interpersonal relationship and in all things
- Regardless of what problems a saint encounters in his life, living and interpersonal relationship, through those
problems, God wants to speak to him. Therefore, if a saint has not tested and approved God’s perfect will, but
only use the world’s methods to solve the problems, God will then use other problems to reveal the purpose He
has for the saint.

3. Why can we [only rely on the name of Jesus Christ] to cast out demons? <Mt 10:1, 12:22-23, Lk
10:1-24>

1) Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we
must be saved = this is the difference between religion and the gospel of Jesus Christ

(1) Because of the name of Jesus Christ, the [word which became flesh] [revelation and teaching], can [man’s heart
and eyes] blinded by the devil be opened

(2) Because of the name of Jesus Christ, who [died and resurrected] (love and righteousness), can all the devil’s
accusations be cast out

(3) Because of the name of Jesus Christ, who has [throne dominion] (authority and victory), can the devil’s authority
and power be driven out

2) All holy people who are chosen by God, can at any time and place [rely on the name of Jesus Christ to
cast out all the works of the devil] = the greater the understanding of [the meaning bore by the name
of Jesus Christ], the greater the authority and power in casting out demons

(1) When holy people believe and accept [the name of Jesus Christ], they receive the authority as God’s children.
The devil forever cannot bind him. Moreover, whenever holy people rely on the name of Jesus Christ to cast out
demons, the devil will be driven out at that moment

(2) When holy people receive the [reason for their calling] by [relying on the name of Jesus Christ], the power of the
devil in disturbing and deceiving will be greatly shattered

(3) When holy people receive the mystery of [Immanuel] by [relying on the name of Jesus Christ], the works of the
devil in blinding minds will be greatly destroyed

(4) When holy people receive the mystery of [confession of sins, receiving righteousness through cleansing of sins]
by [relying on the name of Jesus Christ], the devil’s temptations and accusations lose their effectiveness

 (5) When holy people receive [the Lord's perfect will in all things] by [relying on the name of Jesus Christ], the devil's
schemes will totally lose their power

(6) When holy people receive the mystery of [helping others becoming born again, healing people, edifying people]
by [relying on the name of Jesus Christ], the devil will be fearful of their lives

(7) When holy people receive the mystery of [obtaining disciples in problems and persecutions] by [relying on the
name of Jesus Christ], the devil which controls the entire region and the forces of darkness will be fearful of the
person's life ministry = the authority in Christ which Paul enjoyed <Acts 14:19-23>

Therefore, we must know that after we are born again, in the process of learning and understanding more about
Christ, especially during the few important resolutions in our lives, the devil’s power within the boundary of my life
and living will become weaker and weaker, and our lives will restore the authority and victory in Christ even more.

3) The more spiritual battles holy people went through, the clearer they will grasp the secret of [victory
in battle]

- The secret of resisting the devil <James 4:7>, the secret of not giving the devil a foothold <Ep 4:27>, the secret of
opposing the devil's various schemes <Ep 6:12>, the secret of extinguishing the flaming arrows of the evil one <Ep
6:16>, the secret of not falling into Satan's temptations <1Cor 7:5>, the secret of casting out the devil which [prowls
around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour] <1Pe 5:7-8>
do not need to cast out demons ritually
each time [in the name of Jesus Christ], we must understand that [when we ponder on the promise of Jesus Christ,
once the Holy Spirit works, the devil will depart and the kingdom will descend]
- The secret of helping others cast out demons <Lk 10:17, Mk 16:17-20, Acts 8:7, 16:18, 19:12...> lies in first relying
on the name of Jesus Christ to guard our own hearts and minds in whatever situation, enjoy the mystery of [relying
on the Holy Spirit to cast out demons, restore the heavenly kingdom]. Then, we will receive the timely wisdom
bestowed by the Lord according to the situation, and when we act according to the Lord's guidance, we will see
Christ's authority being exemplified, and the transformation in the lives of [the people/groups of people beside me]

Prayer topics for this week:

1) Saints who enjoy the blessings of Immanuel, can see through all the works of the devil: Are we able to
distinguish the state of [the devil blinding the minds of unbelievers, deceiving, bewitching and binding their hearts
and spirits] (in an individual's spirit, generations after generations in a family line, the whole world)? In my spirit, am
I frequently able to distinguish how the devil attacks me?

2) The person's final condition is worse than before: In the past when I was in my own or other people's families,
have I seen [the severe consequences of ancestral worship, idol worship, religions]? Please share with one another
and confirm the harms brought about by religions! Please ponder: In Christianity, why would the [metamorphosed
belief in Christ] bring about severe consequences? Have I personally experienced?

3) All holy people who are chosen by God, can at any time and place [rely on the name of Jesus Christ to
cast out all the works of the devil]: Have I understood how to rely on the name of Jesus Christ to cast out
demons? What is my depth of understanding of [the name of Jesus Christ]? When I cast out demons in the name of
Jesus Christ, does it include these meanings (refer to main pt 3, sub-point 2)? What kinds of results can I see? Please
