    EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 2013-008 AMENDING SECTION 4 OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO.

    2012 002, ENTITLED, EXPANDING THE CITY THE CITYS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM BY ESTABLISHING THE MAYORAL ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AND OUTSTANDING ALS EXAMINEES SCHOLARSHIPS, AND INSTITUTIONALIZING THE GRANT OF INCENTIVES TO WINNERS OF DEPED SPONSORED / INITIATED ACADEMIC COMPETITIONS, AND PROVIDING MECHANISMS FOR THEIR EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATIONS. BY VIRTUE of the powers vested in me by law, I, JOHN G. BONGAT, do hereby order the following: Section 1. Section 4 of Executive Order No. 2012 002 is hereby amended now to read as follows: SECTION 4. INSTITUTIONALIZATION OF THE GRANT OF INCENTIVES TO WINNERS OF DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION (DEPED) SPONSORED / INITIATED ACADEMIC COMPETITIONS. Under this program, participating students and coaches in DepEd sponsored academic competitions shall be provided funding support by the city in form of either registration or transportation expenses or both. In addition to financial support, winner participants are also entitled to receive the following incentives and recognitions, to wit: 1. First Place or Champion Regional Competition P1, 000.00 for winning student or group and Certificate of Recognition Certificate of Merit for Winning Coach & School Principal P3, 000.00 for winning student or group and Certificate of Recognition Certificate of Merit for Winning Coach & School Principal P6, 000.00 for winning student or group and Certificate of Recognition Certificate of Merit for Winning Coach & School Principal P750.00 for winning student or group and Certificate of Recognition Certificate of Merit for Winning Coach & School Principal

    National Competition

    International Competition

    2. Second Place or 1st Runner Up Regional Competition -

    National Competition

    International Competition

    P2, 000.00 for winning student or group and Certificate of Recognition Certificate of Merit for Winning Coach & School Principal P5, 000.00 for winning student or group and Certificate of Recognition Certificate of Merit for Winning Coach & School Principal P500.00 for winning student or group and Certificate of Recognition Certificate of Merit for Winning Coach & School Principal P1, 000.00 for winning student or group and Certificate of Recognition Certificate of Merit for Winning Coach & School Principal P4, 000.00 for winning student or group and Certificate of Recognition Certificate of Merit for Winning Coach & School Principal
