Preamble of Namadwaar Nama Sankirtan (Chanting the Divine Names) alone is our means of worship. Transcending the disparities created by virtue of caste, religion, geography or language, all of us, should live together in a loving and harmonious manner. A group should not attack another. We should have compassion towards all. How would we feel if someone attacks us or inflicts pain on us? We should not cause pain to others. We should lead a life acceptable to the Almighty. For any nation, for any group of people, for any religion, God is one. We all are His children. Sri Krishna Chaitanya, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and Sri Mahatma Gandhi these three great souls have propagated only this precept. All religions are acceptable! All nations are our nations! All people are our people! May we inculcate such equanimity. Lets all, together chant the Names of Hari! Sri Sadgurunathar

May we also chant this Mahamantra 108 times every day and, by God's grace, be relieved from all kinds of miseries and receive all the goodness in life. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Source: http://www.namadwaar.org/about/namadwaarplan.html

The wealthy are capable of seeking treatment for their ailments in expensive private hospitals, while hospitals running on charity are the only source of medical aid for the poor. Despite the fact that the value of human life is greater than that of money, we do encounter these differences in the very protection of life. Only God's compassion is equally available for all. However, some close-minded people with vested interests have managed to use some faulty logic and obstruct everyone from experiencing God's grace and compassion equally. To change this situation and to ensure that God's grace reaches one and all, the rich and poor alike, I would like propose a simple and beautiful solution, which is in line with the path treaded by our great Mahatmas Nama Dwaar. Beginning with Tamil Nadu, it will not only spread to other states of India but also other countries. It is my fervent desire to establish as many Nama Dwaars as possible. A Nama Dwaar will constitute a simple, open construction with a small Gopuram (shrine). A small glass enclosure will have an oil lamp that will always remain lit. This Nama Dwaar will be open to all, irrespective of gender, caste, creed, religion, or region. There will be no dress code or restrictions for religious conduct. There will be neither a need nor a place for flower offerings, camphor, incense sticks, or even Archana (offering of flowers with mantras). No fee will be charged. There will be no restrictions of Agamas or Shastras (our holy prescriptive scriptures). There will be no Pooja (ceremonial worship) or Naivedya (Holy Food offerings). Those who enter the Nama Dwaar should continuously chant the Maha Mantra:

Inside the Nama Dwaar, there is no room for any other talk except the Maha Mantra. Written prayer requests will be collected in the request box, which will be placed outside the Nama Dwaar. Prayers shall be conducted based on the requests. The information subsequent to the prayer will also be shared with the requestor. A kiosk adjacent to the Nama Dwaar could sell tulasi malas (meditation beads), lecture cassettes, Gopi Chandan (sandal), etc. There is no necessity for using loud speakers outside Nama Dwaars to publicize the chanting of the Maha Mantra. It is sufficient if the chanting is

audible within the premises of the Nama Dwaar. People belonging to any religion can participate in the chanting of the maha mantra. Those desiring initiation can avail of it directly from Sri Swamiji or his disciples when they visit the Nama Dwaar. Those wishing to establish Nama Dwaars can do so in their respective villages/cities. However, we do have a model structure for building a Nama Dwaar and would like to share it with those interested in building one in their premises. Installing many deities in temples yields no results if it is unaccompanied by the divine resonance of the chant of the mantras. On the contrary, even if there are no deities installed, constant chanting of the Maha Mantra Kirtan will automatically ensure divine presence. Everyone's prayers shall be fulfilled. It is enough if only one devotee permanently resides in the Nama Dwaar for caretaking purposes. The Nama Dwaar should be constructed in such a way that even people who are outside can see the devotees chanting the Nama inside." --- Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji Chant the Mahamantra Nama kirtan : Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
