Installation procedure: Download Oracle VM Server software Write CD ISO image to CD Setup server and BIOS to boot from CD Insert cd in server, and boot from it Follow the instructions on screen For details consult Oracle VM Installation and Upgrade Guide

Installing Oracle VM Manager (1)

Installation procedure: Install a supported Oracle Linux or Red Hat EL release on a machine Download Oracle VM Manager software Setup the system to meet the requirements of section: Minimum Hardware and Software Requirements; Network, Firewall, Oracle user, etc. Write CD ISO image to CD and mount it, or mount it directly, eg.:
# mkdir /OVMCD
# mount -o loop OracleVM-Manager-3.x.x.iso /OVMCD

Start the Installer for Oracle VM Manager, eg.:
# cd /OVMCD # ./runInstaller.sh
Follow the instructions on screen
