KGF 240 and KG 180 provide safety and flexibility at any height and can be adjusted to any building shape. Crane time is saved when transporting the units because of the fixed connection to the formwork.

KGF 240 and KG 180 The offset climbing scaffold brackets with non-trip scaffolding platforms
s The KG 180 and KGF 240 offset climbing scaffold brackets bridge over obstructions, such as reinforcement connections or corbels in the wall. Ample work space for the finishing platform is provided - the post extensions of the bracket are set at distance of 1,00 m. To avoid obstructions the finishing platform can be adjusted in 100 mm stages.
0,75 m
The PERI KG climbing scaffold brackets are offset and avoid projections in the wall.
KGF 240: When the formwork is withdrawn 750 mm, a safe working environment to carry out cleaning, fixing blockouts, reinforcement etc. is provided. With a permissible working load of 500 kg/m2 even heavy loads, such as reinforcement, can be stored in this area.
ca. 1,00 m
The platform lies on top of the PERI KG climbing scaffold bracket giving two important advantages: s Non-trip scaffold platform which gives a high standard of working safety. The brackets and cantilevered beam lie below the main and finishing platforms.
When the units are withdrawn 750 mm, KGF 240 Formwork provides a protected and safe working environment.
s Pre-assembly of the platforms: which is cost effective, saves time and avoids tight spaces. The assembly work can be carried out easier and faster in the plant, yard or shop. Plan of a KGF 240 working platform

Erection tip: If an M 24 anchor positioning is used (Page 15), the anchor parts must be additionally fixed with binding wire to the reinforcement to avoid any unintentional loosening during concreting. 14
Example: climbing cone 2 with threaded anchor plate 15 PERI Formwork Engineering
With drilling of the fomwork lining when using the M 24 advancing bolt Shown with the VARIO GT 24 girder formwork
1. Advancing bolt when erecting Position the advancing bolt. Drill the formwork lining, 25 mm diam. Fix the anchor parts to the appropriate version selected (see Page 14)
Without drilling the formwork lining when using the M 24 advancing bolt Shown with the TRIO panel formwork
1. Advancing bolt when erecting Position the M 24 anchor positioning plate. Fix with 4 nails (31 x 70) on the plywood. Fix the anchor parts to the appropriate version selected (see Page 14).
2. Fix the scaffold hinge Remove the advancing bolt. Withdraw the formwork. Bolt on the wall scaffold hinge or folding bearer plate 25 with hex bolts (see Page 14).
2. Fix the scaffold hinge Loosen the formwork from the concrete and withdraw. The anchor positioning plate remains on the cone or bolt anchor sleeve. Screw off the anchor positioning plate with a 12mm Allen key. Screw on the wall scaffold hinge or folding bearer plate 25 with a hex bolt (see Page 14).
3. Suspend the scaffolding Lower the climbing bracket into the hinge and immediately fix with securing bolts.
Elevation x
4. Fix the ZAH anchor chain Loosen the hex bolt with an SW 36 socket wrench and remove the wall scaffold hinge. Bolt on the anchor chain with hex bolts.
5. Recovering the anchor parts Unscrew the hex bolt on the anchor chain and the climbing cone from the finishing platform with the SW 36 socket wrench. Close the anchor holes.
15
The PERI wall scaffold hinge (for KGF 240, KG 180 and KG 130) provides the advantage that there is sufficient play for fast erection. Because of this the crane is free again immediately after erection.
Warning: The timber sizes are for standard cases which have been proved by the testing authorities (Test Certificate no. P 31-162/96). Deviations from this require a special static proof.
If alternative sizes of planks or timbers are used, the anchoring sizes are to be adjusted appropriately .

Two efficient methods of supporting the PERI shaft platforms: 1. With PERI 25 folding bearer plates For example when there is heavy reinforcement or fair-face concrete in shafts. Depending on concrete strength permissible loading is up to 25 kN. 2. With PERI gravity pivot plates For example when the blockouts do not have to be made good. Permissible loading up to 38 kN depending on concrete strength. The advantage is all parts can be re-used.

KGF 240 and KG 180 Load assumptions for construction sites and wind loads to DIN
The normal uses according to the valid standards are taken into account in the type tests of the PERI travelling KGF 240 and KG 180.
The maximum wind load is taken into account according to DIN 1055 for the following cases: Height above ground 0-20 m 20-100 m ber 100 m Wind pressure q 0.8 kN/m2 1.1 kN/m2 1.3 kN/m2
The wind loads result from w = cw x q where cw = 1.3 (aerodynamic force correction value). Reduced wind loads are used when moving the formwork according to DIN 4421, section 6.3.2.2.
