FINDING A SUBSTITUTE TIPS

1. When looking for a sub ahead of time, sending an email can be a great way to do this. Simply send an email to wcopenrec@googlegroups.com and an email will go to everyone on the staff. Lifeguards will use wclifeguards@googlegroups.com. If youd like to work for a person who sends out this kind of email, simply reply (do not REPLY ALL) to the email and let the person know youll work for them. 2. If the time frame for finding a sub is short, its advised you follow these steps: Call everyone on the list until youve spoken with everyone. If someone doesnt answer, call back later. Ask in person. Form a buddy system with someone. Agree to sub for them at a later day.
