1.1 Overview of the Main Menu

When you turn on the system, the main menu will display and you can select the function as below.
You can select the button you would like to use 1. Map - You can use the map to view the places 2. Destination - You can find your destination and go to it 3. Settings - You can change the settings here 4. System - You can change the GPS Status and device volume control here 5. Exit - You can exit the SPEEDNAVI

1. 2 Map View Mode

This is what you will see in Map menu.

1. Zoom level Icon is always top with 2. You have 5 Options to change the view Mode such as North Up, Heading Up, City Map and 3D, 3D City Map Mode 3. You can save your own POI by tapping icon, you can search them from My Point for later use 4. Tap icon to go main menu 5. GPS icon shows the current GPS status No GPS Unstable GPS Normal GPS 6. Frequently used menu button can be placed directly on the map screen for easy access. .

View Mode : Northup, Heading Up, City Map,3D,3D City Map 3D Mode : View angle can be adjusted. (5 levels/ 5,18,23,28,36 degree)

1.3 Map Browsing

1. You may browse map by tapping the direction from the screen to move map to a particular place you wish to go.. 2. You may move the map by pressing the screen by a few seconds to call out direction arrows to move around the map on the screen. When you tap the center of the screen, you can move a little. When you tap the outside of the screen, you can move much more.

1.4 Driving View

These are what will appear in the screen while you navigate.
1. The street name on top is where your next turn shall be made. 2. When you approach an intersection a separate screen pop ups and let you know where to make turns. 3. Your current position will be displayed by street name in text at bottom side of your screen. 4. Information about your trip time, remaining distance also provided on the map 5. 1.4 Driving View

Divided Screen Guide When you are approaching a turning point, the screen will be divided into 2 sections to give you more specific guidance. 1. Remaining distance to the turning point 2. Turning Point ILS A realistic picture will guide you better. ILS is available for main highway entrance / exit. How to set the destination ? Click the map if you would like to set the destination

2.1 Finding POI Name - Name searches routes to a destination from POIs (Point of Interests) Destination > POI Name 1. Type a name of POI that you wish to Find 2. On the next page, you can narrow down the list by tapping Category. or City 3. Tap icon to see detailed information. 4. Tap the one you are looking for ABC - Change the Keyboard Option Category - You can select the category to find a location City You can select the city to find a location

5. Searching a destination Find a place to set as a destination/way point/set car position to find a route 6. To change the options, tap Route Choose one and follow route guidance to your destination.

2.2 Finding Address - Address searches routes to a destination with address Destination > Address 1. Type a street name of Address that you wish to Find when you see the keyboard page 2. On the next page, Choose the one from the list

2.3 Finding Recent - Recent searches routes to a recently searched destination Destination > Recent 1. Tap Recent on the main screen 2. Choose the one from the list , You can delete one by tapping icon, see detailed information by tapping icon and delete the list by tapping Delete All

2.4 Finding Postal Code - Postal Code searches routes to a destination Destination > Postal Code 1. Tap Postal Code on the main screen 2. Input Postal Code that you wish to search. Number [0] means the number of data matching the input

2.5 Finding Nearby - Nearby searches routes to a POI close to your current location Destination > Nearby 1. Tap Nearby 2. Tap the one you need to find 3. Tap the one you are looking for - Choose the one from the list, You can see detailed information by tapping the detailed icon. You can also sort the list by Distance or Alphabet order

- Category searches routes to a POI sorted by categories. Destination > Category 1. Tap Category 2. Tap the one you need to find on the 2nd screen 3. Choose the one from the list 4. Select drive to begin navigating your route You can sort the list by area Map - When you click the map, you can move directly to the map screen My Point You can save locations in My Point

2.7 Finding My Point - Manage your own POI. Destination > My Point 1. Tap My Point 2. Choose the one from the list. You can delete one by tapping delete icon, rename by tapping rename icon and delete the list by tapping Delete All. Home - You can search directly at home Company - You can search directly at company Favorites You can search directly in a favorite list 3. Once those are saved from the map, You can see the icon on the bottom left corner.

2.8 Finding Coordinates Destination > Coordinates If you know the Degree and DMS of your destination, you can enter them directly here 1. Tap Coordinates 2. Input the coordinates and tap Map 3. Select drive to begin navigating your route

3.1. Route You may edit, delete or find a route to a destination 1. Tap Settings > Route Edit : You may edit or delete and find a route to a destination from this screen. Info : You may review route information in text on the list with distance, time to destination and the street name. Save : You may type in a name to save a route in your own way. Just type in the name you like and press SAVE Load : You may choose a saved route from the list and load the route. Cancel : You may choose a route from the list and delete. Tap Cancel and OK to remove it

Log onto SPEEDNAVI web site (http://www.speednavi.com). Input H/W serial number and S/W serial number (which is labeled on CD/DVD or user manual) to obtain license key number. Input the license key number to activate the software. NOTE: Registration is not required for pre-installed products.

Installation
In this chapter, you may find all the necessary information regard to installation, re-installation and upgrade of SPEEDNAVI SQ. Follow the instructions as below to install or re-install the SW A. Remove SD/CF/MMC/Mini SD card from the device B. Place the memory card into a card reader and make sure your computer is on and connected to the card reader. C. Put installation CD/DVD provided or decompress the file you downloaded from the website. D. Follow the instruction step by step to install or upgrade IMPORTANT! Please note that M&SOFT Inc. has NO LIABILITY over supplying re-issued license number or CD/DVD for installation (including files and etc). To perform an installation or an upgrade, you need to have the license number to make process and activate your software. Please make sure you have the number in a safe place.You may also check upgrade availability from the Website http://www.speednavi.com
