EAR stands for Effective Annual Rate and represents the annual cost of an overdraft taking into account how often interest is charged to the account. It does not reflect other fees or charges. The Referral Fee will apply to accounts that either exceed an agreed overdraft facility or go overdrawn where no pre-agreed facility exists. The fee of 10 will be levied for each day that the debit movement (payments out) on these accounts exceeds the amount of 50 (net of daily credits). The fee will only accrue on days of further debit movement as outlined above. If the excess is settled on the same day, the fee will not be charged. This fee will be charged to the account quarterly.

Additional interest 1% (100 basis points) above the rate agreed with you for your loan facility. Additional interest will apply in accordance with condition 10.5 of the General Conditions for Facilities, either because loan payments are in arrears or because the term of the loan has expired without the loan being repaid in full. Charged monthly while the debt is in default and being handled by our Recoveries department. The fee is 0.1% of the outstanding debt per month with a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 150 per account. Referral to Recoveries 75

Charged if you are in default and our Recoveries department refers your case to external solicitors. The Monthly Recoveries Charge will continue to apply after such referral. Realisation of property charged as security 350 to 1000

This is when a property over which we hold a legal charge (mortgage) is taken into possession. The fee is 350 if the property is your home. Otherwise it is 0.5% of the gross sale proceeds up to the amount of the debt, with a maximum of 1,000. Appointment of receiver Up to 1000 per month A monthly fee is charged if we appoint a receiver under the Law of Property Act 1925 or our fixed charge. The fee will be 0.1% of the value of the property up to the amount of the debt outstanding, with a maximum of 1,000 per month.
