Planning a trainings session

Each training session shall contain exercises from the main parts: - warming up, - physical condition - basic technics, and - tactical playings.

Introduction In General try to make not too much different exercises. Direct the players to one point of the hall and let execute from there on one exercise with some variations. Warming up is necessary for avoiding hurtings. Warming up can be executed in different small games related to the handball game, or through running and prelling the ball in several variations, or both. At the end the players have to exercise stretching exercises. Basic technics are prelling the ball, passing it to another player, throws to the goal, and their conditional grounds. In runaway teams you can combine these basic technics to more complex exercises as a basic technic, so you can go on in playing handball more deeper, which means more variable in each position and together. Practising basic technics shall be in each training session as a running duty, as losing the ball in a match can be deadly. Complex exercises are meant here as combined exercises with running and playing the ball and maybe a throw into the goal at the end, which will help to form a team out of many single players. In runaway teams the runnings and playings in complex exercises will become more and more similar to those one in a match, in order to get able the team to use it in the match for aiming a goal. In beginning teams complex exercises will be executed to practise more basic technics in order to form a team out of them. In warming up, you have two basic possibilities: Let the players run in rows. Let the players run in a circle.
