The air force ordered 36 F-16 C/D combat aircraft to be delivered beginning September 2014. The air force also received of its six C-130J transport aircraft from the USA. The air force has also received lightly armed utility helicopters from USA and France. The navy received all of its 12 "Swiftships" light patrol boats and two offshore support vessels. We have included in this report a separate section dealing with the independent Kurdish forces, which are using now some T-55 tanks as well as MRLs, APCs, MANPADS and even some light helicopters and gyroplanes.
