Break out the brushes, paints, clay and much more! Spend Monday mornings expressing yourself through a variety of art media: painting, sculpture, collage and pottery, to name a few. All materials for Come out for our NEW Block Party bash! Join your this 7-week class are included in the program fee. friends for fun party food and all of your Favorite outdoor games: horseshoes, boccia, cornhole, ladderball and more! Well have music, dancing and contests, too...help us welcome Fall with a bang! Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required.

The Gifted Gardeners will be very active: filling our raised tables with fall-season vegetables, flowers and herbs; caring for permanent plantings at the Marion Diehl Center; and crafting items using plant materials. Please note that some classes may take place at the Sensory Garden in Nevin Park, where we will be outdoors and possibly negotiating uneven terrain.

The Zumba Gold program is an inclusive workout designed to teach students who are new to a fit and healthy style, students with disabilities, and active older adults. The Zumba Gold program addresses the anatomical, physiological and psychological needs specific to this population. Every class feels like a party! Join us to get fit and have a great time!

Paralympic Sports For youth and adults with physical and visual impairments Jana.McMullen@MecklenburgCountyNC.gov Paralympic Sport Metrolina offers community-based programs developed to involve youth and adults with physical and visual disabilities in sports and physical activity, regardless of skill level. Fall sports include boccia, a game of strategy, tandem cycling, and archery.
