"Money is the root of all evil. Truer words have never been spoken. For the almighty dollar, brothers have killed brothers, sons have slain their fathers, and daughters will readily betray their mothers. What I have in mind would help more than a thousand people, it would equalize the masses worldwide. An inherited billionaire is no better a person than an independent farmer on some obscure pacific island.

To split hairs, the farmer would probably make a better human. He has more skill than the billionaire, he has much more motivation to provide for his loved ones, as they benefit directly from the work of his hands, the sweat of his brow.

If I had my way to help people, I would do away with the current standard of economy. It seems my views are more socialist than capitalist. Firstly, we must understand that all things begin with 2

knowledge, once we know what needs to be done, we figure how to do these things, and finally, it gets done.

Take the Amish communities for example. They are a hearty, and strong people, free of the materials we allow to enslave ourselves. When a family is in need of repairs for their home, or a home to start with, they band together and build as a community.

Some may say my mind frame would regress our people into the stone age. I would think that perfectly fine. Not only would we benefit as a race of people, but our planet would also benefit.

In conjunction with reforming the way we see money, I feel the entire race of people must do away with fire-arm weapons. Long before the pistol was invented, great countries rose and fell at the sword's tip. Guns allow people to kill one another at a distance, this has desensitized us to the mortality of others. With not a single gun in the world, you would need a bow weapon to maximize the distance of your kill.

Energy surrounds us, and we know exactly how to tap into that energy. Nicola Tesla invented a machine that could transmit energy through open air, free of wires. Free. Why then, hasn't the world's leaders developed a grid network of Tesla Reactors to provide the world free, abundant energy. If you feel the Tesla coil method is ineffective, I challenge you to rival the sun. Solar panels are cheap, with an

initiative from our governments, we could have every structure built to absorb, harness, and redistribute the sun's power.

I feel that people with knowledge and know how have a responsibility to the universe to pass their understanding along as far as it will be carried. In an ideal world, we still have our technologies, the ones that improve the quality of life. I have heard of an engine that runs on something called heavy water. It supposedly doesn't need anything more than a refill of water, so I ask you, why isn't this pollution free item available? Because once its out, there's no longer any money that can come from it.

People withhold life saving medications, and treatments, due to the issue of money. Money is nothing more than a physical manifestation of one person's motivation. If there where no dollars to be had, no one would feel poorer than another person, there wouldn't be any cause for envy, there would be, ultimately, equality.

Everything we could ever need, or want, has already been given to us. It surrounds us on all sides. Yet we have evolved to destroy these things, and I personally feel money has been the prime motivator in this process."

I would do the exact opposite of what all other manufacturers and retailers are doing. I would take a useful object with an expired patent, manufacture it with incredible attention to detail, a huge amount of field testing, improving it with test feedback and failure analysis, and actually do serious quality control of every unit produced. In short, I would help today's thousands of frustrated and disappointed customers of every product category finally have a good experience with a proven product that is built to last as long as possible. I would end customer exploitation and planned obsolescence in hopes of damaging other businesses who cut corners and lie to customers to make sales. When selling the product, I would encourage direct sales from the factory to end the corruption of retail markups and authorized dealer exclusivity. I would use science to improve the product, not to design it to fail on schedule. Such action would finally make shopping and owning things rewarding, not sources of stress, confusion, and disappointment. The product might be something as simple as a box of cereal that is the same size as the average box in 1965, with cereal completely filling the bag. It might be a simple, one

speed bicycle made with very strong axles and hubs that are over-engineered instead of doomed to fail quickly. Any existing product has huge room for improvement. The disappointment must stop. I would market the product by pointing out how corrupt most businesses are and how ruinous it is to waste money, time, material, and emotional health on replacing weak, flimsy products.

I would teach people about how to budget their money. Most programs really only track your expenses and income but are not teaching budgeting. I found a great software program called YNAB (You Need A Budget) which shows you how to budget. It is basically modeled after the old fashioned cash in an envelope for your different categories. You enter income you have received ( NO Forecasting) and then you budget it into different categories you have set up. Say you budget $100 to groceries and $20 to restaurant but then something comes up and you spend $40 at the restaurant. You then have to decide where to take that money from. So you take the extra $20 away from groceries and have to make $80 last until you are paid again. This software comes with incredible support. There are all kinds 6

of videos to teach you how to deal with the set up, credit cards, over drafts, cash etc. They also offer multiple webinars all the time at all different times. They have a very supportive forum if you have any questions or concerns and a place to start your own journal. There are incredible success stories of people with large amounts of debts. I could go on and on but this software would and does help so many people you just can't go wrong. I do not work for the company or have any involvement in it, just a consumer of it.

"Let's start with 1000 people who need the help. One thing, not the only thing that is important, is computer skills for youngsters growing up. My suggestion is this:

Someone who has the skill and tenacity to get businesses to donate money, start by trying to get major corporations to donate money enough for the project. Instead of classrooms we would use air conditioned trailers, so the trailers could go from one neighborhood to another. Inside each trailer has 10 computer systems, and some typical peripherals like printers and scanners, and age appropriate software.

The emphasis would be on computer skills, not just game playing but some games would be OK. The computer tasks would be age appropriate and skill appropriate, to keep the youngsters interested. This is somewhat like a computer camp, but the trailers go to different parts of the city, since some youngsters may not have transportation to get far.

So 10 students at a time, 100 times over would involve 1000 people. Can't be that expensive, but of course instructors and equipment cost something.

p.s., a neighbor had such a trailer come to his house for his 10 year old son's birthday, but the there were either game systems or computers with games inside."

I would like to get one acre of land in the outskirt of a city and dig ponds and wells to get water. I would register a society with the help of like minded people and use the land to raise fruit trees. With water available and rain water harvesting I will be planting fruit trees like Mango,guava,papaya,plantain and jack fruit which are cheaper to grow and maintain.During the season we will preserve the fruit in organic way and market it as jam,jellies and fruit pulp.A food technologist will be hired to get advice on the same matter. We will be giving training and franchise advice for setting up small farms with multiple fruit trees,wherever space is available.

One can easily find out the list of people who are in need of help form the senses department of his local administrative office or can conduct self evaluation among the public. On finding this out we can plan any type of help for those in need in any field such as education, health or employment. Some one may not have shelter of his own and for such families I can provide a humble home and for those who lags in education I may provide better education for them and those in need medical attention that also can be arranged . Finding a way out to provide job is after giving them enough training either in technical or in administrative side as per the individuals talent only can help. I don't mind to go to any extent to help such people and always will be delighted to do so.

I would like to help the poor by educating the children who were not able to study because of lack of study materials. The way to accomplish that is by collecting the books from the rich people who are having large number of books.

Cooperative Banking: the basic idea is to provide start-up capital for either the unemployed, underemployed, or current employees unsatisfied with present working conditions. Often capital is difficult to attain if you have marginal collateral to begin with. What cooperative banking encourages is a 9

reversal of the usual rules of banking itself. Interest would be minimal, capital distribution would be small, but adequate for a small business. The only condition would be a lending amongst equals, meaning that equal decision-making about the funds should persist throughout the lifetime of the business. The reason why this is important is that it removes the expected incentive structure. When all workers, now owners, have an equal say in the decisions of the business, the question is no longer about maximizing profit, but maximizing profit per worker. In short, it is the democratization of work. 1000 people would be capable of beginning several businesses on the micro level, and possibly, if locally organized, could federate. A federation of worker-owned and controlled enterprises would, I will argue, reverse the trend of present day market failures produced by large corporations. The decisions are different, the goals are different, and since workers are also community members, the values would be different from those of large multi-national corporations that are merely looking for a quick sale.

I would like to help them through creativity. Human being is creative animal. Creativity gives the greatest joy. Almost all are creative in their own way. I will help them nurture their creativity and make them earn for their living through their creativity.

1 in 4 women in the United States alone have been sexually assaulted, while countless male victims suffer in silence due to societal stigma concerning male on male and female on male sexual assault. As a form of violence, it also affects victims' families and spouses. Survivors are frequently revictimized by police, the judicial system, as well as a society that frequently blames survivors for causing their own rapes. In order to help 1000 people, I would form an advocacy group that can help survivors and their families through the emotional and financial difficulty of pressing charges and going through a trial, in order to increase the likelihood that perpetrators of sexual assault will be brought to justice.

I would like to set up a small scale unit of food processing. I would like to engage people especially women to make pickles, papad, grind the spices, potato chips and the other seasonal products which are tasty and are in high demand in the market as no one wants to prepare them in their home but relish eating them.Some people can also be engaged in packing them and some in selling them. By doing this I will be able to give employment oppurtunities to many.

Instead of attempting to help 1,000 peope individually, I would attempt to help them all in one large and communicable swipe! I believe in private micro-loans that can be given by one person or by a business to an individual with a big dream who may not have the resources at the time. This one person's idea along with a micro-loan to get that idea going may be the impetus for the bettering of thousands. Maybe a woman in Africa wants to start a small factory employing 50 women to create textiles. This micro-loan could begin that business, begin to pay employees, those employees' families would benefit from the newly found income and it could expand outward at exponential speed until thousands of people have then benefitted by one small loan given to the right person.

If youre going to reach the most financially disadvantaged and excluded you need to get creative about generating income. Social enterprises may be able to develop revenue models that include direct and sponsored sales, franchising, and consulting services both nationally and internationally.

There is power in vulnerability. If you can let people in on the fact that youre learning as you go, youre seen as a better entrepreneur. Youre showing people youre a nimble organization that is going to be flexible and adjustable to any challenges that youre facing.

In every successful startup Ive launched, advised, or simply observed up close, there has always been (at least) one absolutely critical assumption, built into the original business model, which turned out to be completely wrong. Reacting decisively to this learning and setting out a bold new direction is your job as an entrepreneur and leader."

In order to help 1,000 people using a business, creative or social entrepreneurial venture I would first look at the 1,000 people that I would like to help. Something as simple as creating an app that lists what your gas milage is could help a 1,000 people but is there any social justice in that? However, developing a new sustainable industry in a third world country would have a far greater social impact on both the community and humanity in general. I would strive to build some sort of manufacturing facility where employees are paid a fair wage and are compensated for the work that they do to better their community.

The way that I would like to help at least 1000 people is to help spread knowledge about health. I have a passion for health psychology and making the public aware of certain risks and behaviors. For example, I would create advertisements that inform people about the spread of HIV because some people surprisingly aren't aware of how this happens. Some people also aren't aware of how much high

fructose corn syrup they consume. To accomplish this, I could use Youtube or buy out space in certain magazines. But going to grad school would be the best way to help me accomplish this.

I am not very eloquent but I am passionate about homeless people and other's living on the street's...some by choice and some not. If I could or had the money I would provide shower and sleeps stations all along the main roads so that they could at least have the basic neccessity of sleeping and showering and oh, forgot bathroom stations to. Most restaurants won't let you use the bathrooms unless you are purchasing something from there. It makes me so sad to see so many homeless people out there. I was homeless one time with two little kids and vow to never ever be homeless again. I am disabled but I do my best to make ends meet and figure out how to take care of myself like recycle etc. Find tasks or things to do on the internet for money. May not be much but it helps. But there are so many homeless out there that are mentally ill and are not capable of even doing that. I just want to scoop them all up and help them out. No one on this earth should ever be denies their basic rights as a human

"Real time business ideas can be framed if we have adequate data in hand. What I am talking is trending of business on a particular place. Let us take, for example, there are no or very few hardware shops in a locality. Based on a real time survey an opportunity can be framed and this data can be used by people to establish a business. This process takes so long and requires lot of effort. If the government supports such an idea, there would be employment for lot of people.

Giving good product in less price may help the people and Giving awareness with some ads or films may help people.

If I could I would start a homeless shelter in St. Louis. While I haven't researched if there are any shelters in St. Louis, there aren't any major ones that I'm aware of. I would start this shelter and hope to work by getting outside donations and various funding. I would work to help these citizens get back up on their feet so they can establish a better life. By providing a good framework for homeless people to reestablish themselves, it will benefit the community. We could work by doing something along the lines of factory work. While it may seem boring, at least it is income in order for them to reenter a normal life. The factory can be something that will also go to good social causes. One such cause would be manufacturing heaters and air-conditioners for those who are suffering from the extreme effects of Missouri weather. Obviously this would have to have some sort of financial backing, but with such great causes I wouldn't hesitate to believe that St. Louis business' would be on board to help.

I'd plan to setup small scale industries in villages utilizing available Government schemes. I'd train and show route to live for the real needy. Thank you. :) 16

I work in an assisted living facility. I would love to help seniors by giving them a cheap place to live and good help. There are some good people where I work but there are also some not so good people. I would love to give seniors a place that feels like a home to them and not a facility. I would like to make it so the people with dementia love where they are and don't feel like they area burden and a place where they feel safe and wanted instead of a place where they are locked away and don't understand why.

1000 people is just a number for me.its not about some 1000 people,its should be some life achieving capacities to these people.i would like to start a bag and shoes making company so that i can give at least 1000 people some earning for their life.if i can give a man a living you can also ,so please give your try,it can save a life.

To help 1,000 people I would host a workshop teaching basic life skills and frugal tips. I would teach them how to find and use coupons, combine coupons with sales, find free deals, and make the most out of a limited income. They would be taught basic cooking and household cleaning skills. At the end of the workshop, they would know enough to reduce their grocery budget by at least 50%. They would also know how to make healthy balanced meals for themselves and their families. This would help them to live better even if they are below the poverty line. There could also be an individual (or group of individuals) who monitor personal information to help join up people who may be in the market for specific services or need extra help making the connection.
