Top Five Punk Rock Bands of the Decade

Punk has been around for almost 40 years now and is one of the most prevalent music genres today. In the past 20 years, the face of punk has transformed a great deal, rather than wholesome punk, this is the age of Pop-Punk, also, in the early 2000s, most of the punk bands sidetracked their punk roots and started experimenting with Alternative Rock. In our last article we talked about the Godfathers of Punk rock, and now were back with a new list. The top five Punk/Pop-Punk bands of this decade are: 1. Green Day is definitely a punk legend. No other band of the past decade, (except maybe Blink182) has turned Punk into a mainstream music genre like Green Day. 3. All Time Low is the best Pop-Punk band around. The group was formed in 2003 as a high school band. Albeit being a punk band, ATL have a knack for creating best party songs.
