$35 for the standard Home Energy Audit will be charged directly to my Xcel Energy bill upon enrollment in the program. When I complete

Program Participation Costs and Details

To begin the program, call to schedule a home energy audit. The cost for the standard audit is $35. The audit is required prior to starting the improvements. The charge will appear on your Xcel Energy bill.
The audit takes about two hours and is scheduled at a time convenient for you. Historical information about the energy usage of your home is provided to the auditor to help facilitate the audit. Xcel Energy
will provide you with a list for contractors certified in the program. Xcel Energy does not guarantee the contractors’ expertise or reputation; does not warrant any of the products or services installed; or
promote the use of one contractor over the other. Xcel Energy shall have no liability for contractors’ work or negligence. To complete the program and be eligible for the rebates you must agree to implement
five improvements; three mandatory and two optional. When the improvements are made within six months and verified by the auditor, you will receive any rebates earned. Participants must be an
Xcel Energy Minnesota gas and electric customer. Certain restrictions may apply. Participation is limited.
