Town Supervisor Candidates to speak at Fleischmanns Forum

Marjorie Miller, Supervisor of Middletown, and Nelson Delameter, candidate for Supervisor, will each have the opportunity to speak with members of our community at the next Fleischmanns First meeting on September 7th. We will discuss regular business when the meeting convenes at 9:30am. Coffee and continental breakfast will be available at 9:15am. Each candidate will speak for not more than 20 minutes. A question and answer period will follow each presentation. The first candidate will appear at 10am and the second at 11am. This is not a debate format but rather an informational session. The question and answer section will be moderated. This is your chance to hear the candidates talk about their vision for the township and for Fleischmanns in particular. It is your opportunity to ask questions about your concerns that each of them have or might effect. We hear all too often that Fleischmanns is overlooked by our elected officials. This is your opportunity to make the candidates aware of your point of view and to see which of them is better suited to represent you and your vision for Fleischmanns. Dont miss this opportunity this important meeting!

Fleischmanns Factoid
The Fleischmann family built their family compound on the outskirts of Griffin Corners in the 1880's. Picture a 19th Century version of the Kennedy Compound at Hyannis. There were five (one source says six) houses, and numerous outbuildings. Several riding stables. There was even a heated swimming pool--an amazing luxury for that era. Here is a view of that pool, and the bath house.
