Prices of meat were gathered by the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) as of June 5, 2009 from 24 wet markets; June 3, 2009 from 15 supermarkets.
Prices of sugar at wholesale & supermarkets/groceries were gathered by the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) as of June 3, 2009.
Wholesale prices of fish were reported as of June 2, 2009.
Wholesale prices of cooking oil were gathered by Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) as of June 3, 2009.
Starting in May 2, 2009 retail price of papaya will be quoted by kilogram to make it comparable with wholesale.
