Mini-Project #3 Honors Credit

Consumption is the sole end and purpose of all production; and the interest of the producer ought to be attended to, only so far as it may be necessary for promoting that of the consumer.
-Adam Smith (The Wealth of Nations)-

Concept: The most difficult task of becoming an educated consumer is arguably learning how to obtain valid and reliable information regarding a product. This critical step of balancing the risks with the proposed benefits is one that many American consumers bypass when researching a diet, supplement, or any health product. This is no easy task considering much of the information we receive regarding a product comes from those that have a direct and vested interest in its sale. Directions: Your job is to choose a single item designed for the American consumer and evaluate the current research/trends on the proposed benefits and risks and to present your findings to the class in the form of a Prezi presentation. Email me your 3rd Party/Shared presentation before due date.
