Advanced Traditional Training in Xing Yi Quan

PRESENTATION
Xing Yi Quan is a major practice of Chinese Internal Martial Arts. It has evolved in 3 different schools. From the original Shanxi school of Xing Yi Quan, two additional schools have developed, one in the Henan province, the other in the Hebei province. It is on the teachings of this latter school that our training is based. The 5 Bare Hand styles of the The physical and Mental School of Boxing are all related to the 5 elements and the twelve animals of the Chinese Culture. Although Xing Yi Quan is a NEI JIA discipline (an internal style), its practice is made of linear and explosive movements. This Box includes 3 levels of practice : Ming Jing, An Jing and Hua Jing . Progess in this discipline as compared with other internal disciplines is fare more rapid, a traditional proverb says : Tai Ji shi nian bu shou men, xing yi quan yi nian ren ming which can be translated as : You may practise Tai Ji Quan for 10 years and being unable to set foot outside, whereas you may practise Xing Yi Quan for only 1 year, and fight anyone with success. As in most Chinese Martial Arts, you will also find in Xing Yi Quan a number of styles using weapons such as : light sword, broad sword, Spears, etc. it also includes practice in pairs. Master LIANG Chao Qun will be teaching this Traditional Xing Yi Quan Advanced Training Programme. He is an expert in Xing Yi Quan as well as in Ba Gua Zhang, Taiji Quan etc. In 1996, Master Liang Chao Qun arrived in France to present his style during some workshops. In 1997, he founded, with the help of his own students, the association named after his regreted master : the French Wan Laisheng association. From his arrival in France, Master Liang Chao Qun has received a regular attention from the Press and is recognised as one the foremost expert of his generation.

Xing Yi Quan 1st year : The first year of this Xing Yi Quan Advanced Training is dedicated to the fundamental technics and is based on the 5 elements hand practice , as well as, some of the 12 traditional animals technics. An opportunity is offered to students of the Traditional Xing Yi Quan Advanced Training Programme to take a further optional one-month training in China. The 5-Elements Broad Sword Taolu can be learnt during a period of intensive practice. For further Enquiries, please contact the Association.

Advanced Traditional Training in Xing Yi Quan APPLICATION AND PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Length of Training : 2 years including : 5 week-ends and 1 One-Week Training Workshop In the Auvergne Province Fees : The 2 year-Training Programme is paid monthly at the cost of : 100 per month during 20 months = 2000 + 200 Registration Fees : giving a total amount of 2200

The two-year training is validated by a final examination held in Paris , following which, a Diploma of Wan Laisheng Association will be delivered taking into account the students achievements.
For the next Training Session starting in Septembre 2008, your Application as well as the following documents should be received before 1st MARCH 2008. The filled-in Application form A letter stating your martial experience, and your expectations from this training 2 photos (I D format) A medical certificate allowing martial practice A Cheque of 200 for Registration Fees covering : insurance, Federation Registration (FFWaemec - Chinese WUSHU and Energetics French Federation) as well as the supply of your practice uniform. If your application is selected we will inform you by mail of telephone. NB : Regular attendance is mandatory.
