SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENTS Received Silver Medal for 4th position in state level 30th mathematical Olympiad 2002 conducted by Andhra Pradesh Association of Mathematics Teachers. Won Second Prize in the Loadstones, Autonomous Robotics Competition in Kshitij 2005, the Technical Fest of IIT Kharagpur. A total of 30 teams had registered for the event, out of which only 6 were able to reasonably complete the problem statement. Have been awarded the Prathibha Scholarship (last 4 years) and a Gold Medal by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. This scholarship is awarded to engineering students based on academic merit. INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE Name of the company: Synopsys Private Limited, Bangalore, India. Team: IC Compiler Team, Implementation Group. Duration: 8th May to 7th July, 2006 (2 months) Worked on: Memory and runtime profiling of IC Compiler with various amounts of data and traced the root cause of a problem causing excessive run time. Development of verification procedures for testing various aspects of Interface Logic Modeling. Setting up of regressions to ensure the correctness of IC Compiler with respect to Interface Logic Modeling, which were later integrated into Synopsys nightly regression system.

PROJECTS AND TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE Study of Peer-to-peer Network Topologies (M.Tech Thesis) March2007-ongoing Supervisor: Prof. Niloy Ganguly, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Kharagpur The robustness of the gnutella topology was studied under various levels of failure and attack. Various edge modification schemes are being analyzed in improving the robustness and improving the efficiency of communication in these networks. Study of Online Social Networks May2007-July2007 Supervisor: Prof. Krishna Gummadi, Max Planck Institute of Software Systems, Germany The work involved a study of the various structural properties of the online social networks, like Flickr, Youtube, Orkut and Wikipedia. The growth data of these networks were analyzed and the various growth models were validated empirically. Designing an unified protocol for File Sharing and Internet Telephony Aug2006-Feb2007 Supervisor: Prof. Niloy Ganguly, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Kharagpur The aim of the project was designing a two-tier peer-to-peer network architecture and protocol that unifies and optimizes file sharing and internet telephony. This project also involved reverse-engineering of KaZaA and Skype, to study their protocols. This project was done as my Bachelors Project.
