SupeRex IIIP Portable ANPR Processor

PIPS Technologys SupeRex ANPR system is now portable. Taking advantage of the already compact and high performance Slate camera system, PIPS has packaged it with the SupeRex III processor into an ultra compact package for easy deployment and portability. The SupeRex IIIP is a turn-key ANPR processor packaged in a ruggedized and EMI-shielded brushed aluminium case. Operational within minutes, the SupeRex IIIP can support up to four Slate dual-channel ANPR cameras attached to the vehicle with PIPS easyto-use clip or magnet mounts. A simple network cable connects the system to a laptop or Mobile Data Computer (MDC) running PIPS PAGIS in-car system software interface. The system is fully compatible with PIPS BOSS (Back Office System Software) application for investigations, data mining and inter-agency data sharing. The SupeRex IIIP system provides high volume, accurate licence plate capture at speeds of up to 160mph. Capable of capturing thousands of plates every hour, the system utilises PIPS Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to read the plate and perform instant plate checks against specified databases with immediate alerts to the officer of any hits.
