American Dream Definition Poster

Continue to consider the following questions as you create your American Dream Definition Poster: What is it? What does it encompass? Who has it? Who wants it? What does one do to achieve it? This assignment provides you the opportunity to create a visual representation of your perception of the American Dream. You may use your definition from the activities weve completed in class, or you may adapt it to be a definition that better speaks to your opinion/perspective. Your poster must include: 1. the words The American Dream, even if you are using a more subtle definition. 2. Your definition in the form of a series of words or phrases. Make sure your definition is short and to-the-point so that you can use a large font. Condensing and/or using an ellipsis is fine. 3. LOTS of decorations! Pictures, colored paper, magazine cut-outs, computer graphics, illustrations, glitter, ribbon, sequins, confetti, etc. Were talkin beautiful, here. Remember: it will be up all year!! Please follow these guidelines when creating your poster: No less than 8 by 11 paper, no bigger than 9 by 12 Poster must be vertical, not horizontal Made of cardboard, construction paper, cardstock, etc. Your paper needs to be heavy enough that it lasts all year. Make sure your final product is something youre proud to display!
