Dear Baltec CNC Technologies representative, With this letter I would like to apply for a job position at CNC

Baltec Technologies Company. I am currently studying last year ( 4th) at the Antanas Gustaitis Institute of Aviation at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. I have always been interested in technologies and processes. How different elements interact with each other to in order to complete the task. It was essential for me to understand and to create a structure of any form of process, whether it describes the work of the motor shaft, or new product development or even communication between people a clear and understandable structure allows to predict and to control the process. In my opinion, manufacture industry is full of those tasks. There is always a need to create a specific structure for various processes, more advanced methods that will change the current ones whether in design, manufacture or development of new models to make the whole process more efficient. On the other hand, manufacture industry is not all about analyzing or creating, its more the ability to understand and go deeper into the process, to find its weaknesses and to seek new solutions, prevent mistakes and enhance the quality of a product. In Czech Republic, where I spent a year as an exchange student, my general interest in technologies and its process became more specific. I was offered a job at a local aircraft manufacture company TechPro Aviation to work as a CAD/CAM engineer. I was provided with all basic training in designing parts specifically for manufacturing using CNC machines as well as knowledge how to operate it myself and in a very short period of time I became a full time employee of that company. My interest in technologies very quickly turned to interest in manufacturing process. Within a few month periods I gained all required knowledge in aircraft manufacturing process using CNC milling machines and my main job there was focused on preparing various aircraft aluminum parts for milling, bending and other types of forming. I was working very intensively on different projects such as helicopter rotor, vertical stabilizer designs, creating wooden forms in order to form aluminum sheets using rubber-pad forming technique, also constantly working on various quality control drawings, as well as designing basic aircraft parts. Eventually I was responsible of product quality control which was manufactured using CNC machine, preparation of parts for milling using SurfCAM and CATIA, as well as controlling whole milling process and operating CNC milling machine. During the time Ive spent in aircraft manufacture industry, I found myself greatly interested in manufacturing. Knowing that in Lithuania we do not have a company who would specify in normal category aircraft manufacturing sector, my goal has been to gain enough experience in manufacturing process using CNC machine and at the same time, gain sufficient knowledge in aircraft construction and design so that I would be able to step forward into my dream job the creation of an aircraft.

Best, Mantas Raulinaviius
