Course Objective
The objective of this training course is to provide a holistic understanding of the multidimensional aspects of current procurement patterns of infrastructure projects in the US. There are a multitude of players and opportunities in this market. This course will provide attendees a comprehensive understanding of the differing but complementary roles and opportunities in the market. This training program is targeted at beginner and intermediate level participants who have an interest in contributing to or enhancing their contributions in the infrastructure P3 market in the US. A complete understanding of strategic, financial and commercial aspects of these transactions is key to enhancing your contributions to this growing market. As the market evolves, government officials, consultants, engineers, designers, contractors, lenders and investors, and legal advisors are exploring new or improved and integrated business models for meaningful engagement with the market. This training will cover the life cycle of transactions through case studies of past and recent transactions in multiple sectors as well as the differing considerations of the public and private sectors. Finally the course will review contractual terms that are being used in transactions to optimize risks and rewards.

Course Director
Suhrita Sen has 25 years of consulting experience in the infrastructure, construction and real estate sectors. Working nationally and internationally, she has advised a broad range of projects on the intersection of technical, financial and commercial matters. Her recent project experience includes: (i) Strategic planning for large-scale urban infrastructure projects; (ii) Feasibility studies, procurement advice, risk allocations, due diligence and transaction structure for alternative delivery (P3s and D-Bs) projects across multiple sectors. Her career has spanned leadership roles in two big 4 organizations as well as in global engineering and consulting firms in New York. As a published author and presenter with a strong industry presence, she has received recognition as a subject matter expert globally. As an adjunct faculty at Columbia University, she has taught graduate courses in Public Private Partnerships for Capital and Infrastructure Projects. Suhrita is also an alumna of Columbia University, member of the Public Development and Infrastructure Council at The Urban Land Institute as well as a PMP and member of the Project Management Institute.

Cancellation policy If any registered delegate cannot attend our course, a replacement is always welcome. Cancellations must be made in writing (letter) with InfraPPPs acknowledgement. Written cancellations must reach this office 30 days before the programme commences. A full refund less an administration charge of US$150 will be given. For any written cancellation requests that reach us less than 30 days before the event, no refunds will be given. Flights and hotel accommodation should only be purchased when our team contacts you to confirm the course venue. The attendee is solely responsible for their flight and accommodation arrangements and costs. In the unlikely event InfraPPP should have to cancel an event it will not be responsible for any costs incurred by attendees.
