EPSON UPDATES ITS MOST AFFORDABLE SINGLE FUNCTION INKJET PRINTER; MAKING IT FASTER
The new Epson Stylus T13 offers users ultimate quality and value for everyday printing

Malaysia, August 2010 Epson, a world leader in digital imaging and printing solutions, has introduced its latest and most affordable entry level inkjet printer - the Epson Stylus T13, which succeeds the highly popular Epson Stylus T10.

The Epson Stylus T13 features the same class-leading maximum print resolution of 5760 X 1440 dpi as the Epson Stylus T10 for extremely smooth gradations for both grayscale and colour documents and photos. However, the Epson Stylus T13 improves on its predecessor with a new industrial design and faster printing capability of 28 pages per minute (ppm) in mono printing and 15 ppm in colour printing (compared to the T10s 22 ppm mono / 13 ppm colour). Using Epsons proprietary Micro Piezo print head with Variable-Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT), and Epson DURABrite Ultra pigment inks, the inkjet printer delivers precise prints that are extremely durable. The Epson Stylus T13 also offers users the choice of more affordable Epson 91N economy ink cartridges, in addition to the standard Epson 73N ink cartridges.

Key Features of the Epson Stylus T13 Epson Micro Piezo print head with Variable-Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT) The Epson Micro Piezo print head found in the Epson Stylus T13 achieves a maximum print resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi and the VSDT allows the print head to eject ink droplets in three sizes. These capabilities ensure the greatest detail and extremely smooth gradations in photographs. Epson DURABrite Ultra Ink Ideal for everyday colour printing on plain paper, Epson DURABrite Ultra ink is a pigment-based ink that is comprised of insoluble resin-coated pigment particles. Unlike conventional dye-based inks, Epson DURABrite ink pigment particles rest near the surface of conventional paper and are not absorbed into the fibers. As a result, brilliant prints can be delivered without bleed-through using the DURABrite Ultra pigment inks and text prints will appear sharper. The inks also have a quick-drying formula which makes it ideal for doublesided printing, thereby enabling users to reduce cost. Epson DURABrite Ultra ink has been engineered to withstand water, smudge and offers industry-leading light fastness on plain, matte, and glossy papers; giving prints the ability to last up to 100 years1. Epson INKdividual Cartridges With Epsons INKdividual cartridges, users can choose to only replace inks that have run out instead of the full set of inks. This reduces ink wastage and helps users to maximize cost savings. The Epson Stylus T13 inkjet uses standard capacity Epson 73N ink cartridges. However, the printer also offers users the choice of using more affordable Epson 91N economy ink cartridges with lower capacity, to help users who require lower print volumes save on overall running costs.
