The vision to become a worldwide leader in the manufacture of tungsten carbide happened
hand-in-hand with Kennametal Fallon’s teamwork, pride and performance. Our Fallon players
helped develop and improve a unique milling process that is unmatched in the world, turning a
month-long process into just a few days.

The Fallon team created a state-of-the-art water recycling plant and recently completed a $1.67
million expansion at its milling plant north of Fallon that will nearly double the capacity of the
current powder operations.

Kennametal is a long-time supporter of children and education in the Lahontan Valley community,
backing education initiatives with the Churchill County School District, the Fallon Boys and Girls
Club, and establishing a math and science scholarship program at Western Nevada College.
