1st, 2nd April Teachers Preparation Days-Teachers are given timetables, prepare classrooms, planners, soft-boards etc. Duties assigned by Section Head. Co-ordination Meetings held. Academic Session Begins- Orientation for Students. Revision Days- Revision of SSC Syllabus Completed in Class VIII. (Class VIII Syllabus will be included in Class IX 1stTerm Exam). Book Bank Week- Students can donate/exchange old text-books/story books, under the supervision of staff members. (No Activity Books/Work Books to be included). Open House for Parents- Conducted tour of school, slide show, suggestions/ recommendations in the school register, family forms filled by parents. For complete details please see Annex A (point E) of Syllabus Break-ups. Yum-e-Shuhada Holiday- As per GHQ decision this day will be celebrated in the memory of those soldiers who scarified their lives for their motherland. 22nd April

1st May Labour Day Holiday- Upholding the theme of Dignity of Labour through assemblies, speeches & other school activities. Investiture Ceremony and Announcement of Houses/Clubs- Oath Taking Ceremony for the posts of President, Vice President for Clubs, Head Girl/ Head Boy/ House Captains, Prefects and other appointment holders. Elocution Competition- Selection should be conducted well in advance. Practice sessions should be conducted simultaneously and competition to be held after school. Mega Debates Competition- Teachers to select and train students to write and deliver a debate in favour or against the given topic. Practice sessions should be conducted regularly. On 11th October funfair will be held to generate funds to help some orphanage or needy people. (Full week off for students) Mega Sports Competition- Sport of the School to be a prominent part of the competition, besides other sporting events.
