GALATIANS 2:20
We believe

You matter to God. Heaven and Hell are real. Jesus, Gods Son, died because of your sin, and rose again. When you believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are saved. The Bible is true and relevant for your life. The Holy Spirit will give you the power to live a life of victory.

Transethnicity We are a church that intentionally seeks to transcend our cultural and ethnic differences by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Often I think metaphorically. One evening I had a vision of God and me riding in a car together. I was driving and He was in the back seat, along with many other symbolic things of value in my life. God then asked me the question, Am I Lord of your life? I quickly responded, Of course, God. But as silence filled the car, so did my conviction, and I pulled the car over to rearrange the objects of value, inviting God to Pastor Liam sit up in the front seat. As we pulled back onto the road of life, I felt pretty confident and proud of myself until, yet again, I was asked the question by God, Am I Lord of your life? And once again I responded, Well, of course. After all, He was sitting shotgun. I couldnt imagine what more I could do. I had allowed Him into my car, and not just that, but He was in the front seat! When I asked what more could I possibly do to allow Him to be Lord of my life, He responded, Give me the car keys. I was struck with immediate fear. But God, that means that if I want to turn left and You want to turn right, then we go right. If I want to listen to this and You want to listen to that, then we listen to that. And if I want to pull over here but You want to continue to drive to there, then we keep driving! He responded, Yes, my child, thats right; thats what it means to allow me to be Lord of your life. What could more adequately sum up the idea of it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me than the choice to give God the car keys to your life? I pray today as we meditate upon this verse, that we all find the courage to live by faith and trust the One who gave Himself for us.

OUR SPEAKER THIS WEEKEND

Pastor Dan is in Israel, leading a teaching tour for a group of 25 from New Life Providence. He will return to the pulpit next weekend. The speaker for our services will be Dr. Corn Bekker, NLP member and professor in the school of Global Leadership and Entrepreneurship at Regent University.

New Life Providence Church (NLPC) encourages all who know the Lord and who share the vision of this ministry to consider becoming church members. Membership provides many wonderful benefits and has reasonable responsibilities. Membership is open to those age 18 and older. It is a simple process. Discovery Seminar, a fast-paced, on-point event, is offered three times each year. Discovery is required for all those seeking membership in order to understand the history, values, and practices of our church. To streamline the process, the Discovery Seminar is scheduled in two parts: an all-day Saturday portion (a light breakfast, lunch, and childcare provided), plus the Sunday evening one week later. Brochures with more details and registration forms are available at the information center. The next Discovery Seminar will be March 3rd & 11th. To
