NATA -2013 INFORMATION TO CANDIDATES I.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission: The eligibility criteria for Admission into Under Graduate 5-year B. Arch. course shall be as mentioned below; (i) The candidate should be of Indian Nationality (ii) The candidate should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974, as subsequently amended. (iii) The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination either in,-

(a) 10+2 or equivalent and secured 50% marks (45% in case of reserved categories) in aggregate with Mathematics as subject. Or (b) 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by State Government and secured 50% aggregate marks (45% in case of reserved categories) in aggregate with Mathematics as subject. (iv) The candidate should have qualified at National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and should also have secured State Architecture Rank. II. Helpline Centers in Andhra Pradesh: The following Helpline Centers are established for Registration and Certification Verification. a) Counseling Center, Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University, Masab Tank, Hyderabad. b) Counseling Center, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Nagarjuna Nagar, Guntur. c) Counseling Center, Opp. to School of Distance Education, Andhra University Visakhapatnam. d) Counseling Center, Old MBA Building, S V University, Tirupathi. III. NATA Test Centers in Andhra Pradesh For details about NATA test and test centers please visit http://www.nata.in IV. Certificates to be produced at the time of Registration: The NATA qualified & eligible candidates have to attend for certificate verification on the 12 th & 13th of August 2013 at the Helpline Centers. The candidates shall produce the following original certificates for verification at the time of Registration at the Helpline centers. 1. NATA score card 2. Provisional Intermediate / Diploma certificates * 3. Memorandum of Marks of Intermediate/Diploma 4. SSC pass memo or equivalent marks memo as proof of Date of Birth 5. Integrated Community Certificate and fathers Caste Certificate in case of BC/ST/SC issued by the competent authority 6. Income Certificate issued on or after 01.01.2013 7. Study certificate from VI to XII / Diploma 8. Residence certificate for preceding 7 years of the Qualifying examinations i.e. Intermediate/Diploma, in respect of candidates who have private study without institutionalized education.

9. Candidates claiming reservation under NCC/Sports shall bring the original certificates. PH Candidates shall submit certificate issued by the District Medical Board. CAP Candidates shall submit Certificated from Zilla Sainik Welfare Board, Discharge book & Identity card for Verification. Children of Ex-Service and In-Service persons who are domicile of Andhra Pradesh will alone be considered for allotment of seats under CAP Category. * Certificates of all candidates who are applying under PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/ Minority categories will be verified at JNAFAU Campus, Hyderabad on 12.08.2013 from 10.30 A.M. onwards. 10. Transfer Certificate 11. The Muslim and Christian Minority Candidates should bring TC of the SSC containing the Religion (Muslim/Christian/other linguistic) or in the absence of TC, a Certificate issued by the Head of the Institution in which the student studied/appeared SSC or its equivalent. 12. Physical fitness certificate from a Civil Asst. Surgeon * Candidates who studied Intermediate/Diploma in other states in India or from over countries should obtain equivalency Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh. Registration cum Processing Fee: All the candidates have to pay Rs. 1000/- towards Registration cum Processing Fee (Rs. 500/- only for SC/ST candidates) paid in the form of Cash / DD in favour of The Convener, NATA - 2013 (Admissions), JNAFAU, of any nationalized Bank payable at Hyderabad.
